Great and honest review, it is most helpful. We too have sailed Seabourn and SilverSea. We are scheduled to sail on Evrima in May. We will keep our expectations low. Agree there is no reason to have a sea day with nothing to do.

We are booked in May 2023.

We cruised on SeaDream II the first week of October. We dined in the dining salon every night but one.

We just got off SeaDream II last week. The above post makes sense, because the ship’s Wi-Fi service was better when close to ports and towns. When at sea, the internet service was still as slow as ever. They even warned us when we purchased the service that is was not great service and only good for texting and emails.

How often during the cruise are you tested after the first Covid test to board?

We have been on two different SeaDream voyages with scuba diving excursions offered by SeaDream. The first was on our Cuba voyage, with one day of diving offered. The second was on a southern Caribbean voyage with two different days of scuba diving offered.

Men are required to wear long pants. It is on their website and when I called to confirm our reservation the man I spoke to said gentlemen are required to wear long pants, no shorts.

We just did the Antarctica cruise on the Quest three weeks ago. There were three formal optional nights. As others have said, only a jacket is required, no need for a suit. My DH wore a navy blazer with slacks and a tie. A tie was not required, but he wanted an excuse to wear his new one.

No, it is not the same. I know Verizon and AT&T work, but cell service only (voice calls and SMS texts), no data. It is expensive as well. Most of the upper end hotels have Wi-Fi and some eating establishments. 

Yes, Punta del Este was originally scheduled. The cruises from Santiago to Buenos Aires stop there. The reverse itinerary from BA to Santiago stops in Montevideo.

21 Day Cruise, $3K per person

We used them for our Antarctic cruise we are currently on. We sent all of our heavy cold weather gear. This was the first time we had used them, but will definitely not be the last. You can track your luggage’s progress with the tracking number they give you. The bag was waiting for us in our suite when we boarded.

I used Travel Guard for my upcoming Cuba cruise. I think it had to be submitted manually (paper) instead of electronically. My travel agent handled it.

Just to clarify, the Affidavit has nothing to do with the US State Department. It is for the US Treasury Department, due to the embargo. The only people that might investigate or check it would be the Treasury Department.
