We too live in the UK have have been able to take advantage of any price reductions, we've got great reductions this year as well as additional OBC, just call princess up to paying the final balance and the reduction and any special deals will be applied.

Our flight back to the UK is not until 9.30pm, we have booked Princess transfers to the airport. Does anyone know what the procedure is ? Do Princess take you directly to the airport as soon as you leave the ship regardless of your flight time, or do they take you to a hotel until it's time to depart to the airport

Things must be changing in the UK as we booked a B2B last May and going in March as have taken advantage of about £400 in price drops and had our OBC increased to $940 , on top of that we booked our flights with Princess and they have come down £300 each. We just rang princess direct each time we saw a sale or cheaper price. They told us we could do this right up until we paid the final balance..

We are intending to go independently, can anyone tell me if we have to pre book or can we just turn up ?

We also used Roccardo of Amazing tours on 2007, he was fantastic, nothing was to much trouble . he will be at the shispide ready to meet you off the ship, he will give you a great time and he is very careful to allow time to get back to the ship before departure.

If there is anything you particularly want to see, he will make sure you do.

If we ever visit Ponta Delgada again he will be the first person we book
