  1. We are sailing on the Spirit on December 16th, 2009. I know it is very late, but if anyone has a referral coupon we can use I would be so grateful. We are paid up and ready to go--I can even deliver the coupon to Seabourn in person since we live in South Florida! I called Seabourn and they said it is not too late to submit. Thanks. You can email me at Montymh@aol.com

    It`s on it`s way. Happy sailing :)

  2. Just noticed on cruisecal. com 3 Carnival ships have cancelled calls to Mexico ~~as well as 2 Princess ships and 1 Holland American ship. I'm sure in a few days the ships schedules will be back to normal as soon as the swine "flu" scare is over.

I would not want to fly or cruise to Mexico this week ~~!~

They are all pulling out of Mexican ports and quite right. This FLU is a fact not a scare. :(

  3. We will be at the port of Chan May and I understand it is not possible to visit both Hoi An and Hue because they are too far apart and we can't get to both during the time we will be in port. My research on Trip Advisor and Frommers seems to prefer Hoi An to Hue, but I would appreciate hearing from those of you on the Cruise Critic Boards.

    Thank you,

    Peggy

Just been to Viet Nam/ Da Nang and had a great tour to Hoi An.

  4. This made me chuckle, it's from USA Today, today.

    >"A first-class passenger on a Delta flight apparently became so angry that coach-class passengers were able to exit his jet before he could that "he yanked open an emergency hatch and slid down the chute," The Associated Press reports. The incident happened in the South American country of Guyana, where local police said the man –- identified as a Guyanese citizen –- appeared to be intoxicated after arriving on Delta's flight from New York. The incident, confirmed yesterday by Guyanese authorities, occurred Friday. Delta spokesman Junior Horatio tells AP that the carrier plans to press charges against the man for interfering with flight crew members."

Great story. Is First Class passenger on Delta an oxymoron

  5. I have been asking around since it was brought to my attention, that Seabourn has stopped using Barbados as a base port and is using Ft Lauderdale more, along with a bit of St Thomas and St Martin. Any speculation as to why? For me on the East Coast, it's a lot easier for me to get to FLL, however.

Probably so US cruisers can avoid customs/immigration/passport hassle. I do`nt blame them. Flying sucks. I wonder why ???

  6. It is a French non-vintage sparkling wine with a production of 10,000 cases per year.

It is Cunard's standard welcome bottle and served at receptions, often under the misleading title "champagne".

About its taste you probably have read enough.

to cal it champagne would be illegal if not from the Champagne area. US airlines do it.:o
