Interesting.  I've never known our table assignment before our cruise.  When we were a large group, 34 people, our ta worked with Royal to get us a group of tables but didn't know where until we boarded.

I communicated via email with the rccl dining mgr requesting the 2 top.  He replied honoring my request and gave me the table number.  I have made the same request several  times in the past.

It could be anywhere inside of the dining room. Where the table numbers are this week will in all probability be completely different by the time you cruise. The only things that don't move are the tables themselves. We have been on B2B cruises with a 2-top table in the exact same physical location on both cruises and with completely different table numbers on them.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Even if you could, those table numbers could get moved around. If you had a specific question about why you want that, some here may help.

The reason why I’m interested in the chart is because we’ve  been assigned a 2 top table number for an upcoming cruise and I wanted to see where it was located in the dining room.

How do you Royal up?  Please explain what website or link to get this information/bid for an upgrade.  I will be sailing on Ovation of the Seas in May going to Alaska so would like to know how to upgrade.

Another question for those of you renting a car in Lahaina,  which car rentals are near the cruise port and what would the options be to get there.  Excuse my asking two questions on different topics.  I find this website very difficult to navigate and not user friendly.  TIA

I"ve rented cars a few times at Lahaina.  There are several agencies at the Kapalua airport (code JHM).  About a 10-15 min drive from the pier.  They all will have shuttles waiting for customers at the pier (near the banyan tree).  Shuttles usually will only pick up customers with reservations.  Don't make the mistake of booking your rental car reservation at the other airport on Maui, Kahului (OGG), a 1+ hour  drive from Lahaina.  Get the convertible!  Good luck.

  5. Didn't you have a bathtub in the JS? D balconies only have a shower. Plus you should have had a walk-in closet in the JS.

Just speaking for myself.....the tub was a negative. Would have rather had the shower only. Also....The walk in closet added no addition value for us. it was not a dressing room (had no place to sit).

  6. We have a D1 on Enchantment right now, we are thinking of upgrading to a suite.

    1. Do you get a gold Seapass for a JS? If so do you have access to the CL?

    2. Is a JS worth upgrading from for a balcony?

    3. What is offered in the CL?

    4. If we reserve a JS or GS and an inside (all of our family can only fit in a RFS), can the guests in our inside check in with us in the suite line at the port?

    5. What are the amenities of a GS? Is there a doorbell? Its not nessecary, just wondering.

    6. Can you order from the MDR in a JS?

    7. Someone remarked on another thread that you can be put on a suite waiting list. How do you do this?

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk. Please excuse any typographical errors.

We just returned from a West. Caribbean cruise on the Freedom in a JS. The cabin, balcony, and closet were slightly larger that a D balcony; but the bath and other cabin features and amenities were no different. We did receive priority boarding, but I doubt that saved us any time. If I had to do it again, I would chose the D balcony and save a few hundred dollars.
