I have signed up for AARP rewards yesterday, took some quizzes to buy the Carnival card with 10% discount. Today searching to purchase it, I didn’t see it in the list of businesses. Does this mean sold out at this time? If so, when is the best time to recheck? Any help is appreciated.

I have four, but won’t allow them to ruin my cruise.
1 smelly/farting people in the elevators
2 people saving a row of seats at shows
3 seeing people not washing hands in restrooms
4 packing for disembarkation

On Carnival's Valor last year, I slept on the Pullman bed and gave my teenage son the twin bed. It was spacious and very comfortable to me. This may be an option for your family.

Chankanab requires you to wear biodegradable sunscreen too and no feeding of the fish due to environmental purposes, trying to build back the reef from hurricane early 2000's.

There are not nearly as many activities on NCL as on Carnival ships. On Carnival ships you have several activities happening at the same to choose from and not so much on NCL Epic. NCL definitely does not have a loud, fast vibe IMO.

This happened to us two weeks ago, luckily had a birth certificate card with us. NCL accepted it along with drivers license.

Depending on ports, may need water shoes and/or biodegradable sun lotion (Cozumel).

In Mexico, elders/adults will touch children's cheeks and:or kiss foreheads. I asked about it and the elder said they are drawn to specific children and by touching them they will prosper and have good fortune for their future. I had this happen to my daughter, the family kept passing her around saying "oh, look at this one" and then praying over her in Spanish. My husband was there, so I didn't feel uncomfortable.

Thanks for answers. Feel kind of silly now... but don't know unless you ask or wait until you get on the ship. Thanks again.

I was looking at Epic deck 14 plans to see what is above our cabin 13065, it shows RR. Can someone tell me what that is? (First time NCL cruiser.)

Is the free public part of Cable Beach safe for family with children?
-
We booked two guaranteed cabins. We were advised by NCL about them "linking families" together so our odds of us at least ending up on the same floor would be good when cabins were assigned. When we received our cabin numbers 70 days out from departure date, one is on deck 9 the other deck 11. We knew this could happen so it didn't effect our thoughts on rolling the dice.

Thank you for the helpful responses.

We will be on NCL Epic in November, what is the earliest you are able to go to your cabin and drop off a carry on bag? I haven't been able to find the answer.

Make everyone happy! Leave him with family, neighbor or friend for safety reasons and remaining members enjoy the cruise. I have taught my children, once you start something, you must finish it. It's sounds like you have instilled those same values and he is on his way to becoming a great individual. Also, if you make him go, it could be miserable for everyone. When my oldest son was a high school senior, I played the you have to go card, "I'm the parent and this may be our last family vacation" since he was going off to college. It didn't work too well, it was not fun, and it has boiled down to he just doesn't like cruising. He has not gone on our last two cruises. [emoji23] It's a hard decision for a mom or dad. Good luck.

I have always had 2 rooms since I have teenagers, but never really in our cabins. Your children being young will probably work out fine and if not, you have a whole ship to walk. Lol. I hope your MIL has a great time and catches the addictive cruise bug like most of us. [emoji6]

It depends on what your family likes to see and do. Western-many Mayan Ruins, Southern-very hot, more turquoise waters & Eastern-some rainforests and others have forts IMO. You really need to do your homework to see which itinerary interested you then look into the ports. Beware, it will keep you up ALL NIGHT searching here but get great ideas. That's how I decide.[emoji6]

They do on the Valor. A mix of children's, lady cut, and men shirts. They either showed a specific port on your itinerary, the Caribbean islands, or a cruise saying on them (such as "live love cruise" I got).

There are other trolley stands near port that will take you to the either of the castles. The walk back is much easier. I would suggest try walking, there is so much to see. IMO, one of the most beautiful places.

Here are a couple of pics of the black sand beside the Plaza at the Port.
-
On our last cruise, I found a black sand beach on the left side when looking at the port. Walk through the plaza to the road, then turn left on sidewalk, pass the bus stop and small pier. This is about a 10-15 minute walk from ship. You will find several pieces of sea glass also, if you are a collector. Found my first red piece here!

I tip EVERY person that touches our bags and moves them, a couple dollars per bag. I do it because the workers are polite & it makes me feel good to do something nice. Btw, I have chose to work in the school system and don't make much money but when a child gives me a gift, even the flower from the playground, I'm appreciative & so I try to treat others the same way. YOLO

You should go to comedy also! They have two people doing shows at different times same location. Each person does an early PG13 show and then late R show. Usually changes comedians when you arrive at a port. Or chill, watch a movie on the big screen. You will come home needing another vacation to rest!
