  1. We are still onboard.  Things are mostly back to normal. All water is now from Spain.  Our friend onboard has been suffering for two weeks and the doctor finally gave her antibiotics and she is was better in 24 hours.

The pool is open and White Nights will be on deck rather than in the cafe.

  2. Well, I started this by saying I had gotten the ailment but not my husband.  Now he has it.  He has not eaten off the ship!  Whatever this is, it is on the ship and they either cannot or will not tell us what is causing it.

  3. We boarded on Feb. 8 in Cape Town and pool and hot tubs were closed due to some intestinal issues onboard.
Now, three weeks later, the cause of the issues still has not been found and the pool is still closed, paper menus, no self service and no books.  The captain claims that it is not a norovirus epidemic.

We have had officers, the future cruise consultant and cruise staff serving food as crew disappears.

Hope they find the cause soon!

  4.  I went  2 months after the surgery. It was a simple caribbean cruise on the rotterdam. I sent a lot of time in the hot tubs and walking slow laps on the promenade deck. I  cruised  last month  on TA and to UK .on the ZUIDERDAM and it was much easier getting a round If you need more detailed info , you can email me at sfgrosscpa@gmail.com -steve

  5. In our letter from Viking regarding our Trans Canal cruise, this is the wording regarding pre-cruise testing.  Pay close attention to the wording.

"Viking is committed to doing all we can to ensure you are healthy and well prepared for international travel—and that you will be able to arrive in your destination and embark your ship safely. Viking has decided to require that all guests take a COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours prior to boarding their first outbound flight from their home country."

  6. We were on the first two weeks  of the eurodam , AUG 15 TO AUG 29 The entertainment in main stage was as follows:7shows with ONE STEP ,DANCE CO, 3 SHOWS WITH  A MAGICIAN , 2 HAL HISTORY  TALKS , ONE  MOVIE NITE WITH  MIA MAMMA AND GREEK EXC NITE .Pretty boring in my  opinion .Worse than before covid -steve

  7. We are booked on Star Breeze in June and if this forced shore excursion requirement is not changed, we will be cancelling. The Millenium is sailing on the same dates at half the price without this requirement.  Seems to be a money grab.

Norfolk Island Australia. You must have been on the same cruise as us, January this year. So glad we were able to tender in.

Good job!  Yes we were on that cruise and were lucky enough to make it to shore.

Amazing job with tenders!  We were with friends that rented a car and we drove all over the island.

  9.  We were on the MAASDAM FOR 27 DAYS from JAN 20 to FEB 15 ,2020.There was  only 1  zodiac tour in 27 days . We were told  3 of the zodiacs were unusable due to dry rot.We  have only one EXC lecturer . That was it.It was quite a boring shipboard experience.Prior  to this cruise we were on the jan 2019 INDIAN OCEAN EXC CRUISE which was quite interesting. It seems  SEATTLE  cuts good new programs  even after  a little sucess.
