  1. I’m not new to Royal Caribbean, but I haven’t Cruised in 4years. I’m just wandering about the jewel of the sea. We have booked a 12 day cruise from Amsterdam to Iceland, and I’m wondering about the lounges, we are diamond plus and I’m not sure if there still is a diamond plus lounge. We always enjoy the coffee In the lounges at breakfast. I also know that we get five free drinks during the day, but not sure if there is a lounge how does that work? Thanks and advance for all your answers I surely appreciate it!

That is a very good point. Do they now want payment in advance? When we did a Baltic cruise (2007) and used a tour by Alla, we did not have to pay anything until we were taking the tour.

They required a deposit of 50$ pp at time of booking, the rest was due on day of the tour.

Since the last thread on this topic was closed, I thought I would start another one. I guess someone colored outside the lines. But I think we need to have someplace to discuss questions we might have about our upcoming cruises. If someone can enlighten me as to the reason that the last thread was closed, please do so. If we are able to keep the thread going, we'll try to stay on topic. My input here is that my flight home out of Copenhagen was cancelled and Lufhansa, via EZair, had placed me on a 9:35 am flight home, not possible. I was lucky to get hold of someone at Princess and she rebooked me on a later Lufthansa flight. Point is, the scramble for flights may be on as people cancel various bookings, leaving airlines consolidating some flights. Check in with your flight itineraries and stay on top of them. Things may get harry.

I would also add to cancel your St. Petersburg tours ASAP…. I cancelled mine yesterday, and have my 200$ deposit back today. I sent an email, and they sent back a very nice and prompt response. However, I wonder if They may not be able to transfer money soon, or refund deposits.

I’m wondering the same thing.  I’ve been in touch with the Brest tourism office and they gave me a couple of options.  One was for a limousine service that quoted 458 euros .  A taxi service quoted 280 euros.  I’m trying to get some more quotes.

Thanks so much for keeping me in the loop!

other than the things already mentioned:

    • military OBC (which is refundable)
    • the International Cafe (I am sad about how many cruises I didn't know that it was included & not an extra charge), great sandwiches & I always take zip lock baggies to have cookies in my cabin
    • pre purchase bottled water if you don't have a beverage plan
    • if your shoe falls apart on the cruise the upholsterer might be able to fix it for you (free)
    • made to order omelets in the buffet

    Off menu.

Can you combine military credit with the 100 carnival share credit?

Go to the Princess.com web site. Select on board our ships, Enchanted Princess, deck plans. Select your cabin. Any description of the obstruction will be shown in Red print.

Believe you have an incorrect cabin no. Port & starboard lido deck cabins do not have obstructions. Forward facing cabins have solid balcony railings. They are also very windy when the ship is under way.

Thank you for your help, I posted a snapshot of the website… I think it means that the bottom of the glass is obstructed… wish I could find a picture..😩

  7. Trying to find out information on obstructed views on the lido deck. Specifically L110. Haven’t cruised  on princess in several years since my husband passed away, but am ready to re-enter the cruising world! Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me.😊

  8. You download the Royal IQ app before you get to the ship, it's a free download. Once onboard, you connect to the ship's wireless system and use the app to pay for the texting ability, which is $7.95 per phone, total cost per cruise. You can send and receive texts to any phone on the ship that is using the app and has paid the $7.95 fee.

    Thank you Bob!
