Barcelona Hotel recommendations for solo female. Would like nice, clean and safe area with reasonable rates for Nov. 2017 for my first NCL transatlantic.

By the way great rates for NCL Epic from Barcelona to Port Canerval on Nov. 5-18,2017 for solos. I booked inside for $399.00.:confused:

Catalonia Sagrada Familia Hotel in Barcelona, is this a safe area for solo female cruiser for 2 nites? Safe walking around? Cafes and shopping close by?

Other from TA cruise are staying here and I can share ride to port and probably have dinner with some of them.

Doing TA in November. Group is staying at Catalonia Sagrada Familia Hotel and can share ride to port with group.

I am travelling solo and will be there 2 nites. Undecided as to what to do with my one full day. HOHO bus, semi-private tour, or just walk around and tour Sagrada Familia in afternoon.

Any help with what is near this hotel as to transportation, cafes, shopping, etc.

Barcelona Hotel help. Need help from my Solo friends. Booked my first TA and first time on NCL Epic for November, 2017.

If I end up not sharing hotel room in Barcelona with another solo, what hotel do you recommend?

Also if you recommend city center area what is best and least expensive way from airport to hotel?

Then from that hotel to port?

My friend wants to stay at airport hotel and I feel we would enjoy the city more in city center not for partying just seeing the city. We arrive 2 days before cruise.

TA starts in Barcelona to Malaga to St Thomas to PC.

That is another question, will we do immigration in St Thomas or PC?

Not sure which hotel we will stay for 2 nites in Barcelona before TA on Epic. For 2 adults what is the cheapest and best way to get from airport to Travelodge Poblenou? Taxi cost? Shuttles recommendation and cost?

Other hotel being considered is Barcelona Airport hotel which has a free shuttle.

What do you recommend for shuttle or taxi to port on Sunday?

First TA cruise. Booked air for 12:45 from Orlando. Is this too early to get off ship, get luggage, customs, shuttle to airport and catch this flight.

Are there any tour operators for day tours? Cruise port on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Would prefer an organized tours of castles, cathedral, etc. for solo traveler. Thanks for your help.

There have been several hotel openings in Ft. Lauderdale, Dania, and Hollywood in the last few years. At the same time, the airport Hilton closed and they had a lot of rooms! Here are some brand new builds along with total renovations of old hotels/motels that had been closed down.

Thanks Royalcruz for this info. I will be flying into to FL in Dec. 2016 for one night for cruise out of Miami. Which hotel or hotels would you suggest for solo female in the Dania/Hollywood area? I would like the free airport shuttle and breakfast and good place to eat close by within walking distance.

Also, looking at shuttles. Used SAS in past. Do you recommend them or someone else?

Been to Hawaii for times and always used SpeediShuttle. Reliable transportation at a reasonable price. Priced at a per person basis and you may be riding with strangers. It's kind of like a shared cab. I have used it in Honolulu and the Big Island. Airport to hotel with no worries.

Enjoyed your reviews. My cousin and I will be on Splendor in a few weeks. This is her first cruise ever. We have a balcony booked on deck 7 aft. Did you feel much movement?
