  1. My husband & I will be flying into LAX late then getting on a cruise the next day. We just need a hotel close to the airport for the night. Any suggestions which are decent just for a bed & shower for the night? Preferably one that offers shuttle service to the hotel from the airport.

  2. Ooohh I'll be in the Pride in a couple months! Do you remember which days the cups were offered?

    Thanks

I know the blowfish was sold on the 2nd day. We had really rough waters that day and about half of the people were kinda sea sick and I had enough "Funship" drinks the 1st day that I wasn't in the mood to drink. The disco ball is usually sold on the last "elegant" night. Just get whatever cup as soon as you see it and you should be fine. I'm not a fan of the monkey heads...they scare me. LOL

  3. I was just on the Pride and I really wanted the blowfish cup to add to my collection, but I wasn't drinking the day they had them out and they sold out so make sure you get whatever cup you want the DAY you see it. One of the bartenders told me that they've had the blowfish cups for about 10 years now so they are retiring that cup. Funny that I've been on 13 cruises and this was the 1st time I've ever seen them.

  4. Shirley-

Thank you so much for the updates on #295. Everything I can think of is there. Travel would be that much easier if there was a #295 for all ports. Also, just wanted to share with you all how wonderful Joe P. the GM for Radisson has been. I sent him an e-mail this week and he took the time to respond within a few hours from his vacation and cc someone at the hotel so we can get the service requested when we arrive on Friday. I haven't been to Cocoa Beach yet but I'm already so impressed with the service.

I'll let you know how it went when we get back in mid-September. Thank you again

Can you please email me at usmcgina@yahoo.com and give me Joe P's email address?? I have a couple of questions. Thanks!!

  5. I am now researching a September cruise... and have another question for someone who has "done this" hopefully. I am looking at flying in the day prior and staying 1 night in Cape Canaveral. And flying out same day -- MY QUESTION -- is a 12:15 flight out of Orlando do-able? If it makes any difference, I am looking at Carnival Sensation cruise.

Any advise would be appreciated!! :D

This was taken directly from Carnival's site

Port Canaveral – Earliest return flight after 12:00 PM for Orlando and Melbourne Airports for 3 & 4 day cruises, 1:00pm for 7 day cruises
