  1. I can't drink enough to justify it.  And I'd over drink to justify it.  So I don't.  I could justify princess with 50 a day (when it was) that included enough to make it a value even if I just had 3 drinks, as I'd get coffee and bottle water too. Internet also, and tips.  There's value to me there. That's all just me though. If you drink enough through the average day then maybe you can find value.

  2. I would stay in Galveston.  I live in Houston no reason to stay here before a cruise then taxi to Galveston. Get there go out and eat.  Plenty traps on the seawall or Broadway. If you like soul food Alan's kitchen is pretty good his mom cooks on Friday and Sunday, best days. Oysters at Black Pearl are on point.  Gumbo, I like gumbo daddy they were pretty good.  Bit tourist trap but good gumbo and Oysters.

  3. I thought they could've had a cool modern-day take on the love boat more drama, sex, maybe people falling off the boat.  But the played out bachelor dating thing is no fun.

For the person that watched the series its gonna finish on paramount + so it's not totally dead.  Just don't look for season 2.

Texas requires that the ship sell only alcohol purchased from Texas distributors while in Texas waters. Since these are more expensive for Princess to purchase, they only purchase a limited amount, and they are only available in some bars. They should certainly have some vodka for bloody Mary.

If you're in texas in the early am can they still give you liquor once the ship is un texas waters?

as soon as you step on board ... and ends when you get off on your disembarkation day - yep, a little morning eye opener before you exit ...

I think that would depend on the port huh?  I know in texas they go by different rules so I'd imagine no drinks early in the morning on return day.  Could be wrong I haven't tried.

  6. I don't think it's worth recycling it.  And you can't reuse it for another guest.  No one wants a used item to start thier cruise.  Then you got covid fears.

To be honest most recycling I've found to be fraud anyway. I remember working at Kroger supermarket. We just did that to get you in the store.  The stuff you put in the recycling box, we threw in the regular trash with everything else.

  7. Just got off a family cruise. I was pretty much the lead on this we didn't zoom but everyone was in a group conversation via text.  I think the text is good as everyone can go back and review instead of asking the questions again you can also send links to info people are looking for.  I chose royal for the extra activities like slides and rock wall, family is mostly young adults not kids.  I also liked the itinerary they had for that cruise.
