How's the job searching Nancy?

Looking for a job stinks!! With unemployment being high there are over 100 applicants for every job. And because of this, employers don't have to pay diddly. But, I'm not too worried and shall keep the faith! Are you working now?

we were just talking about our European adventure. And all agree it was the best vacation Ever! Memorable vacation & new lifelong friends/cruising family... Doesn't get much better than that!

Randy, I think the rate Ingrid got for Embassy Suites is a better deal. I've stayed there prior to cruising before. It's walking distance to the port~~3 blocks. Just a thought..............

i am a Hilton Girl, so I need to look at the Hilton options before I look at anything else

I'm a Hilton girl also. There is a nice Hilton right near the port(Hilton Riverwalk?) and really close to the FQ. There is also an Embassy Suites near the port. We stayed there last time we cruised from NOLA. Rooms were ok, but you can't beat their free breakfast buffet!

how nice is that? I must to teach Herbert's GF to cook.

So far it's me, Kate and Christen. Hoping we'll talk Kelly into joining us. I'm going to put it out to my friends, but doubt if any can join us.

Nancy I had friends go there a couple of years ago and they said it is magnificent! They went to some natural hot springs and pics looked fabulous! I hope you take a lot for us!!

 

Keep plugging away at your daughter!! I think in Key West we will jetski, in Nassau the Atlantis and waterpark and Freeport is a new one on me!!

We are going to go to Blue Lagoon while in Iceland~~it's a geothermal spa, supposedly the mud is good for your skin, etc. I will take lots of pics!!

I'm down for jetski and Atlantis. Kate really, really wants to go to Atlantis. Freeport is new for us also.

Mel~~we need to get one more cruise in before Dec 13 to get our Platinum. Think we're going to do a 5 day on the Victory next Labor Day.

Hello everyone!

Busy here as well. Leaving for Iceland next week. The daughter of one of bff's is getting married. I don't think I would ever have chosen to go to Iceland, so this is the perfect excuse!

I've almost talked my middle daughter into joining us on the Sunshine:)

No concrete plans on the big day, although people keep telling us to elope on this cruise! Who knows, we just may. :p We'll be driving down the day before at the latest. I'd be way too terrified to risk going the same day. What about you?

I'm Nance and so far traveling with my youngest daughter (she's 23). I'm pretty sure my middle daughter (25) will be cruising with us also.

The Breeze is a fabulous ship in every way. I'm thinking the Sunshine may be even better being that the Serenity deck is 3 levels!

I'll be on the Destiny in Jan 2013~~need to see her before she becomes the Sunshine.

My family will definitely be going a couple of days early to hang out in NOLA. We always travel to whatever port at least the day before~~~weather can be an issue for us in the winter and in the summer.
