I still see Escape at Puerto Plata on the 23rd.  Only other ship is the Carnival Freedom.  I'd say there is a good chance it will not be cancelled.  With only two ships they could both be at Amber Cove.

Which port did you see this in?  I checked both and Escape is not on either for 1/23

  2. I was noticing that on the port calendars (Tiano & Amber) that Escape was originally scheduled to stop at Amber on 1/23, but not its not on there anymore (it was there yesterday) and not listed on the Tiano port schedule either.  How can I confirm with NCL it's cancelled.  I have an excursion booked through the cruise line and want to make sure I am refunded if we don't stop there.

If we are not stopping there, where would you guess it would be going?  Nassau?

    Thank you

  3. So, if I have Premium plus, according to the first link (from an NCL bar), if there is a price next to the glass price and price next to bottle price - that is NOT included with premium plus?  I was understanding that I could get glasses of Veuve and bottles of Moet.  Then I also read that you can only get bottles of the Moet in dining room and have to finish it there.

    So confused

  4. Hello:

Can anyone tell me about the Moet bar on Great Stirrup Cay?  Is it special access only for the villa/cabana folks, or can anyone go?  Can I just walk up to it without having to rent a cabana?  I have the ultimate drink package and would love to sit and sip "the good stuff" there.

Also, is there a bar on Escape that specializes in wines & champagnes?

    Thank you

Great.  It's only $7, but I did just won an upgrade from inside to balcony and was charged the extra gratuities for the dining package.  I'm guessing the agent was thinking about the DSC only, but you will get an extra meal with the free at sea dining.  Of course, I'm assuming you didn't cancel the dining package, or booked a sail away cabin, which doesn't include the free at sea.  If you do have the dining package (which is only 1 meal for a studio unless you're on a cruise longer than 10 days), you will notice that you paid $10 gratuities for it.  The two meal package costs $17 in gratuities

I already upgraded both the drink package and dining packages and paid for both.  Agent said none of this is affected since I'm pre-paid.  I hope this is still true

  6. Someone on another thread said that if your upgrade bid is accepted, you are automatically charged additional $500 for added tips and insurance.  I put a bid in from a studio to a balcony (regular, not club or haven).  Is this true?  I have pre-paid for everything already, but wasn't aware that in addition to the bid price, there is additional fees to upgrade insurance (standard) and tips.

    Thanks

  7. I put in a bid to upgrade from studio to balcony for a January 2023 cruise.  I did the minimum, or a little bit over that.

If I get this upgrade, how much more do I have to pay for tips/insurance/anything else?  Another thread told me to expect a $500 charge to my account right off the bat.  Can anyone clarify please?

Go back through the Room Upgrades link just as though you were going to bid on another room.  You will have to re-insert your last name and booking confirmation number.  The next page should show you your most recent bid.  (You can also click or swipe right to see the other available items for bid in case you want to bid on two staterooms at once.)

    Thank you!
