Most people ignore the Texas State Legislature approved Gestapo-like activity of the TABC and just keep walking.

Soapbxking - this will be his first cruise and I know he's going to have an amazing time. The dart board will be the cherry on top. :p
If he throws steel tip darts he will be disappointed, it's the electronic dartboard with plastic tips.

Breeze for the itinerary, Little French Key in Roatan.

Fill my cooler with ice each morning.

The one and only I attended several year ago was just a huge complaint session for the CD. A lot more people than what were on the roll call were there. I never bothered to even try to go to another one.

There is pasta and salad from 11 to 1, not sure if it's every night or just certain nights. It's listed on the HUB app in addition to the 24 hour pizza listing.

Dang! Now I have to book another cruise. I really like that one.
I have never gotten the gift Heald says is the current one. Last two, I got stationary when it was announced as night light in January and now I got small Tervis tumblers on Breeze last week. ;p

Here is the ordering sheet/menu that was on the Breeze, it was pretty good and reasonably priced

So they charge for disembarkation day too?
Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
No.

You need to figure in the 15% gratuity, it is not reflected in the pricing or itemized receipt but is included in the total amount.
Pre-purchased online for Breeze, $49.95 for 6 days + gratuity for 2 people was $689.32
$49.95 x 6 = $299.70
15% = $44.96
Total = $344.66 per person

On the Breeze in January a bartender told me you MUST ask to be charged for a drink before you have the 15th charged to your Cheers account. The system will not allow them to ring up a drink after the 15th Cheers entry is recorded. We bought pitchers of beer before reaching the limit a few days.

Sailed Jan 8-16 (+1 day fog delay)
We were asked if we wanted either time or both for service. Chose AM. Clemente was awesome and seemed to always be in the hallway calling me when I turned the wrong direction headed to my cabin 98% of the time
Debark was different than normal due to fog delayed arrival, self assist seemed really disorganized in the Theater. Then a medical offload delayed self-assist by an hour. All shuttles were there because of the +1 day fog delay, only ship in port at that point.

I am also enjoying your review. Thank you for taking the time to write it. I like that idea of giving my oldest a limit for the week and letting him spend it how he wants.
I think that is one of the coolest things for a kid to do on a vacation, especially in an environment like a cruise ship. I miss having our kids be that excited, now they just drink with me... :D

I love bacon but have never been thrilled with the quality of the bacon Carnival serves.
The bacon police can keep it as far as I'm concerned ;)
Agreed!

Was on the Breeze 1/8/17 and the smoke was pretty thick then. The entire seating area of the casino had smokers in it.
The smoking area on deck 11 is most of the starboard side (aft to pool area) and during the Dallas playoff game they just smoked everywhere on deck 11 both sides. The even let people smoke during refueling on our extra fog induced "Sea Day" in port. It's the most lax I have ever seen the crew on smoking outside smoking areas.

They did open up phone lines for us to call loved ones and change our travel plans.
And Cheers was extended at no charge till about 2PM Sunday :D
-
On the Breeze now and Captain announced we are slowing down to arrive at 10 AM Sunday.

They're doing something right... :D
"Reports Q4 (Nov) earnings of $0.67 per share, excluding non-recurring items, $0.09 better than the Capital IQ Consensus of $0.58; revenues rose 6.0% year/year"

Yay! History lesson time!
In the late 1800s and early 1900s, fresh beer was carried from the local pub to one's home by means of a small-galvanized pail. Rumor has it that when the beer sloshed around the pail, it created a rumbling sound as the CO2 escaped through the lid, thus the term "growler" was coined.

Not glass lined but they are stainless steel and should be double-walled like the Yeti cups to keep contents warm or cold.
I hope they are available at all RFP soon.
-
They call them Skybox sports bar now and there is not one on the Dream :(
-
I have it bookmarked here because Carnival lists the ships it's available on. :)
Thank you for that link, now I am doubly bummed. No Alchemy Bar OR Martini Sampler on the Breeze!!!!

marine traffic . com says she is docked in Grand Cayman today

Personally don't care what folks wear, just know that some folks must wear something!
As for the crabcakes, a few years ago on the Magic I dragged the DW up to the Lido from the casino to get food in her whiel drinking. She loves crabcakes but she took one bite of this one and stuck her tongue out, grabbed the entire pile and slammed it on the plate exclaiming "WTH did they do to this crabcake!" She has never had them since...
The New York/Texas Liquor Law & CHEERS! Question...
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
I cannot find the reference now but there is a tax the cruise lines can pay to allow the unlimited drink package while in Texas waters. CCL does not pay the extortion fee from TABC (my own opinion of TABC) it but RCCL does.
