Just returned from sailing on Quantum Singapore to Shanghai starting June 15. I cruised with my daughters, ages 15 and 20, whom I adopted from China as toddlers. There were quite a few little kids on board, but very few teens and early 20's.
In the Grande we saw people in sweats and men with open collared shirts, no tie or jacket. I almost didn't keep our resevation as our luggage was lost and the smartest outfit I could come up with was black trousers and shirt and some big hoop earrings. We wend to the hostess to ask if my attire was acceptable and found ouselves behind a woman with print leggins and something like a long-line sports bra.
The various tims we had to line up for things the staff person would ask where the rest of my party was, when my daughters were standing right beside me. We started holding hands when there were lines, and it still happened. Even though the girls don't look like me or each other, this only rarely happens in the US.
Disembarkation in Shanghai was horrible. At one point I began to feel faint and was afraid might be trampled.
Is Quantum the worst ship ever?

Years ago I sailed on the Disney Magic a few months after it started sailing and it ran like clockwork. It's not an entirely fair comoarison as it was only going to the Bahamas, but like someone else said, I did not appreciate being a "crash test dummy." Also I would add that RCI needs to instruct its young male employees to not openly flirt with 15 year old female passengers.
