We bid on a Haven room, and also on a mini suite. The cruise looks sold out, but we will find out for sure on Thursday.

Either way, we will have a great time. I will post as soon as I hear if we get and upgrade or not...

The two main shows on the NCL Escape are "After Midnight ", and "For the Record, the Brat Pack". Both of these shows in the main theater are free, but you should reserve seating as soon as you book your cruise, as seating fills up fast.

I was on the Getaway last March and I had an amazing time. Great ship and the staff was wonderful. I am not sure where the negative reviews came from...

I enjoyed it so much I booked another cruise on the Escape in a few weeks. NCL ROCKS.

A Spa Haven cabin gets a nice arrangement of flowers.. I would imagine our balcony room will get a handful of dandelions in a Mason jar... 😜

I did notice cabin 12272 sticks out a bit, but as long as we can see the water below us, and the sea in front of us, we will be happy!😀

Our travel agent advised this room based on the location near the elevators, so that is a plus.👍

We booked a cruise on the NCL Escape in March. Our cabin is balcony room 12270.

Does anyone have an opinion of this room? Is there an unobstructed view from the balcony? There are just two of us, so we are not worried about the size of the room. What is more important to us is enjoying the view from our balcony.

We also are considering bidding on an upgrade, so any input and feedback would help.

This will be my 3rd time sailing NCL, having previously been on the Dawn and the Getaway. :)

The shows are free, but you want to book them well in advance on the NCL site. They fill up fast. Another option is to check in before a show and ask to be put on a list in case there are any no-shows.

I am cruising on the GETAWAY this Sunday, March 13th. I also booked a guaranteed balcony cabin about two months ago. I took the Beverage package and the Excursion package. For the excursion package I get a credit of $50 a day for every port towards an excursion. I have booked an excursion for every port, NCL was very helpful.

I was assigned my cabin, 9780, about two weeks ago. I have seen pictures of it online, I am very happy with it. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great deal on a balcony and the two packages. A great deal!
