Hey, Colleen, are you forsaking your Roll Call buddies? ;) :D
Have you uploaded your pictures when checking in online?
That's step one.
When you get to the port, and are dropped off at the terminal door, you hand off your bags to a porter. He will give you a sticker for your SetSail Pass which has an RFID chip in it for tracking your luggage. (which may or may not work.) The tracking takes place on the Royal IQ app, which you should download now, at home.
:)
Thanks so much! I am not forsaking any of you -- I just thought it would be better handled here, in the general area!
Thanks for the information, though!!!
I have a question: We usually carry on our luggage -- is this still an option?
Thanks,
Colleen

I have heard that there is a new process being used to embark people onto Anthem. I haven't cruised for 2 years, so I am familiar with the old, cattle call, long lines, go to the desk, give credit card and Passports, get SeaPass cards process.
Is there a new process I should be aware of?
Thanks,
Colleen

Thanks all. Neither of the boys have sports coats and probably would object. Long sleeve shirts with khaki or dark pants sounds like win-win. I agree, no shorts, not even on casual nights. I appreciated all your suggestions.
My son has cruised with us from age 4 to 18 and this is usually what he wore -- khakis and polo shirts -- to dinner even on the formal nights. When he was a teen, he wanted to be a little suave and rented a tux.

Thank you...much appreciate!:)
Karen: Have you been on the ship yet? If so, what other types of equipment do they have (like free weights, balance balls, medicine balls, foam rollers, etc.)?
Thanks,
Colleen

My husband and I are considering taking a Celebrity tour to hike Pacaya Volcano. We understand it is really pretty, but that seeing the promised lava flows and such might not happen.
What I am wondering is how strenous it is. If anyone has hiked it, please let me know your physicial condition and how strenuous you found it.
Thank you,
Colleen

1) power strip (for extra plug-ins like camera batters and my DH's CPAP)
2) loaded Kindle (with a light so I can read in bed)
3) ear plugs (I use them all the time, even at home)
4) crocs (some use flip-flops, but I do not like things between my toes)
5) sunscreen and solarcaine (to me, they are tied together because I ALWAYS burn)
