Can anyone recommend a good company for a private snorkling excursion in Cabo? There are 14 of us and we would like a catamaran that has some shade, provides drinks and lunch, maybe some music and dancing also.

Last year we were aboard the Caribbean Princess and watched the Super Bowl in Club Fusion. They had lots of different game snacks chicken wings, taco bar, chips and dip and popcorn and if I remember correctly several large screen TV's positioned through out the lounge. We had a good time although the game didn't turn out the way we wanted.

Thanks everyone for your replies. The Embassy Suites came in at almost $50.00 cheaper per night per room and our group decided with the free cocktails and free breakfast and four rooms for two nights it was a better deal for us. Maybe we will try the Courtyard next trip.

A little over a year ago we used Quality Limo Service and they were exceptional. I had forgotten that they took my credit card info when I booked and I tried to pay the driver cash and he was very honest and told us that it was already paid. They were on time and helped with our luggage. We will use them again for sure next time out of Fort Lauderdale.

We have always stayed at the Embassy Suites on 17th st. pre cruise. We are thinking of trying the Courtyard By Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach for our next cruise in November. The Trip advisor reviews seemed good but I am wondering what cruise critic members think of the hotel for a two night pre cruise stay.

Ft Lauderdale and Seattle only.
And it appears Seattle port offers its own version that makes Ez-check redundant (if you don't need your boarding passes printed).
Darn It! I loved EZ check it was worth every penny. I wish they had it at all the disembakation ports.

Is the EZ check luggage where Princess delivers your luggage to the airport available at the San Francisco Port. And if it is does it include both the San Francisco and Oakland Airports?

I think the drydock is in March of this year.

Thank you for sharing, we board her on the 28th for 14 nights. So glad to hear positive comments.

So glad to hear you had excellent food and service and that you enjoyed your cruise. We board the Caribbean Princess on Jan. 28th for the 14 day cruise. I am really in countdown mode now. Can't wait!

Nine days until we board the Caribbean Princess for fourteen days. However, we leave home in 6 days. Can't wait to get out of the cold.

Thank you so much for the live thread. We board Jan 28th through Feb 11th. Doing the ABC's and then Western Caribbean. So happy to travel along with you while we dream of our vacation.

We love Grandpa's Bakery & Restaurant @ 17 SW 1st St. Dania Beach. They have great pastries and really good food. They have huge portions. One order of a meal would probably feed three people. We have gone there with our luggage after getting off the ship when we have a later flight out that afternoon. We have also had dinner there when we have stayed the night before our cruise.

Thank you all for your answers. My mother in law turns 101 in a few days and my father is 89 and not in the best health so it will be nice to check in on both of them.

We are going on a fourteen day cruise on the Caribbean Princess. This cruise is actually 2-7day cruises so we come back to Port Everglades. On our turn around day back at Port Everglades can we use our cell phones while we are on the ship without incurring the cellular at sea charges.?

I agree with Martin Jenkins. We went with Calabazza a couple of years ago. It is the best excursion we have ever taken. Great Drinks, Great Food, Great help and great owners (Mother & Son) of the catamaran. We could not have been happier. They also took alot of pictures during our snorkling and sent them to us via email for free. She also shared a lot of her recipes with us via email. You can't go wrong with Calabazza.

Does anyone know if you can book the Ultimate Ship Tour pre-cruise and if so how much is it?
-
We did book Radical Adventures. The TripAdvisor reviews were awesome. I will post a review here when we return. Which will be a while because we won't be there until February 2017.

Thanks for the link. I have sent an email to them.

We are a group of 14 adults that are looking for a good private catamaran snorkle excursion. Our ports of call are the following: Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Island of Roatan, Belize City, and Cozumel. We would like it to include transportation, lunch and drinks.

Does anyone happen to have a discount code for Embassy Suites. I am a Hilton Honors Member, but last time we stayed there I was given a discount code and it saved quite a bit especially for four rooms.
-
The price on April 3, 2014 was $110.00 per person and worth every penny.

I just got off the Emerald Princess on the 8th. Although I did not purchase the beverage package several in our group did. And yes if one person in a cabin purchased it it is required that the other adult must also purchase it. On a 10 day cruise it was just over a $1,000.00 for the couple which includes the 15% gratuity.

We sailed with Calabazza last week while we were in Barbados. Gina and her crew were great. We had a group of 18 which is more than she usually takes, but it worked great for us. Swimming with the turtles was awesome. And the ship wrecks were fun to see. Fabian swam with us the whole time and took lots and lots of pictures. Which Gina has already sent to us along with the recipes for her amazing food. And speaking of food and drink. It was plentiful and very delicious. I have done many snorkling excursions and this trip rates at the top of my list. I don't think you can go wrong with Calabazza, Gina, her son Danny and Fabian. I just wish I was there now.;)
Columbia and Snake Rivers

I am not sure where on the snake river you are going so I can't really answer that. But on the Columbia Gorge from Portland to what they call the Tri Cities it can be very windy. Late June should be warm weather, but it can be very windy. Twice driving our motorhome down the Gorge on I-84 we pulled over because we felt like we were going to be blown over. Once was in late June and once the middle of August. You will see very beautiful country.
