  1. I just spent most of the day today calling Princess Cruise line in regard to this topic and got multiple different answers. I finally told the last Princess person to please make notes in my account in case I get to the cruise terminal without passports for my minor children and have any trouble. He was from Guest Services and escalated the question to his supervisor to verify. What I was told. If it is a closed loop cruise (Leave from USA return USA) and sailing to Mexico, Caribbean or Canada a passport is NOT required for minors. If the cruise starts or ends outside of USA passport are required for all. However, even on a closed loop cruise, if only ONE adult is traveling with the minors then passports ARE required for the minors as well. Also told need to be original or certified birth certificates. Photo copies which are allowed on other cruise lines are NOT ok for Princess. Hope this helps. https://www.princess.com/learn/faq/pre-cruise/prepare-for-your-cruise/ On select U.S. roundtrip (sometimes called “closed-loop”) voyages, U.S. citizens ages 16 and above may also travel with an original or certified copy U.S. birth certificate (or U.S. Certificate of Naturalization if foreign born) presented together with a valid U.S. government-issued photo identification. U.S. and Canadian citizens ages 15 and younger may travel with a birth certificate. Alaska roundtrip from San Francisco, Los Angeles or Seattle (roundtrip Seattle cruisetours excluded) Canada/New England roundtrip from New York Caribbean roundtrip from Ft. Lauderdale^, Galveston^ or New York (voyages that do not call to Martinque or Guadeloupe only) Hawaii roundtrip from Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, or Seattle Mexico roundtrip from Los Angeles, San Francisco or San Diego ^Voyages that call to Central or South America are excluded and only passports are accepted. All voyages that call to Martinique or Guadeloupe require a passport. Domestic itineraries The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) governs acceptable travel documents for entry into the U.S. by sea from Bermuda, Canada, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico or within the United States. We highly recommend a passport. We also require a passport for all guests in a travel party when minors are traveling with only one adult (21 years and older).
  2. I have done it many times. We do the early walk off option and usually just grab a quick bite and coffee from the International Cafe area.
  3. Yes, when on board go directly to the restaurant and ask the staff. You can also call the reservation number and ask. Worst is you will be put on the wait list.
