DH & I just booked a cruise yesterday for 9/18. We booked a balcony with non-refundable deposit as the price was less expensive and there were only 5 left on deck 8 and none on deck 9. We are looking over a year here. It looks to me that people are really booking lots of cabins and then wanting a refund when the closing date comes around!!

I would like to see no dancing in the MDR during dinner by the waiters. The MDR may not be "fine dining" but it is dining. My DH and I do dress a little nicer for dinner and the dancing takes away the ambience. We have never encountered dancing at the restaurants we go to even Chili's or Burger Barn or Trulucks. Carnival is the only cruise line we have seen this. This is just mt opinion.

We are boarding Carnival Dream on Sunday in NO and received an email 2 days ago that our check in time is 1 30 - 3 30.

When you buy from a reputable place in port they always ask ship name That list is turned into the ship. Whether on board or in port they know who buys what.

Hey Rodney & Jan, really enjoyed talking to you at the M&M. We had a great time on the cruise doing absolutely nothing. Rested and relaxed My wrist is doing better since I started OT. It was a little scary going over the causeway leaving the ship. Hope you had a safe trip home. Sorry Katie got sick on the cruise. Monday was bad, did not go to dinner. Went to DL for a little while and then back to cabin. About 9:30 Foster went to Johany Rockets and got HB to go. Really enjoyed visiting with you two and maybe we will cruise together again. We had some visit last week in the DL on the Navigator.

Just got off the Navigator on Sunday. Formal night DH wore slacks & a dress shirt, no tie. Went to Sabors and DH wore khakis & a golf shirt. No problem either place.

Just got off the Navigator Sunday and my DH & I both comented on the decline of the food. Seriously, the best thing I had in the MDR was the Key lime pie and it was awesome. Waiter brought everyone a second piece.

Thanks to all of you for the info about deckplans. We are new to Celebrity and taking our first on the Infinity in May. I am sure I will be asking more questions in the months to come. Thanks again

Are all of you saying that the Dream does NOT have Guy's Burgers!! I am so disappointed. Sailing 1-3-16 from NO to San Juan and then back to NO. Really liked Guy's burgers on the Freedom and their ff were awesome.

Where actually does the ship tender from in Monterey? Pictures look fairly close to Lovers Point. My DH went to HS in Monterey a d we go every 2-3 years. Have friends there that will meet us and I want to eat at two of my favorite places, Rosine's in downtown Monterey and Sand Bar & Grill on the commercial wharf. Looking to book next May. As our friends say that Monterey. PG, and Carmel is God's country. It is beautiful!!

DH and I are leaving tomorrow for Copenhagen and also boarding Serenade on Sunday. Love the Serenade. Sherri we might be on the same flight. DH is portly and bald and I am portly and white/grey hair. Hope to meet you soon. Pat

We are leaving on SOS 8/30 on TA from Copenhagen to Newarlk and then staying on to Quebec City. Love the Serenade. Have sailed 4 times on her.

We are staying at the Crowne Plaza next week. Not my choice but went thru cruise line. It is 3.3 miles from city center. We can always take a taxi. What was temp when you were there. Don't know about ac. I am concerned!!

We have never gotten any ever and will be Diamond Plus after this BtoB. Oh well, still like to cruise.

We docked in Naples on the NOS. Used Aldo Limos out of Sorrento. Aldo was born & raised in Sorrento. We were 4 couples, first went to Pompeii, then to Positino and ended up in Sorrento. Fantastic tour and Aldo was awesome. His wife Christine met us for a late lunch in Sorrento. I would highly recommend Aldo Limos. Pat

DH & I are going on the Dream in January and heard it does not have Guys burgers, Very disappointed. Hope they add them before Jan.

Was on Carnival Freedom last Jan. and they had Guys Burgers. Ate one almost everyday!!

I can not get on either. Trying for rt from Houston to Newark in Sept and would like one in Jan rt Houston to NO. I think it said you have ti fly by Dec 15 so I am probably out of luck on the last one. I will keep trying!!
