We are doing a back-to-back cruise, 14 +7, and I am curious to know if it's worth the hassle to change cabins. First leg of the cruise there's a great vista suite available on deck 5 but we'd have to move to to the same category cabin on deck 4 for the last leg of the cruise.

Thanks for the responses. Was interested in hearing from fellow cruisers who have used this service. Always leery about trying something like this for the first time.

We want to spend a week touring Portugal prior to our cruise out of Barcelona. Rather than have to deal with our "cruise" luggage we'd love to be able to store it for a week at a hotel or secure storage facility. Has anyone had any experience doing this?
Thanks!

My husband and I just got back last week from the Reflection TA - great sail! I was on the lookout for you and Leisa as I was hoping we'd run into you! Congrats on retirement!!
We are signed up to do next year's Reflection TA and hope to see you onboard!

Absolutely loved following along with you on your cruise!! We met you last October at the Martini Bar on the Reflection Transatlantic! Fingers crossed our paths will cross again on the high seas!

Thanks for taking the time to blog your cruises! We met at the Martini Bar on last year's transatlantic cruise on the Reflection. Cheers to a fantastic cruise and I'll definitely be following along.

We booked Choice Air for the Chgo to Miami. Are you using Choice Air for your return? I have read Miami airport is almost a 2 mile walk from entrance to gates. Any one know if this is true?
I have flown out of Miami before and I do recall it was a rather long walk to our gate but I'm sure it wasn't 2 miles. I am a slow walker so I allow myself extra time when traveling through an airport.

I've purchased the upgraded economy seats with Choice Air tickets on both Delta and United.
Thanks Bob, gives me hope!!

I was wondering if anyone has had luck purchasing an economy ticket from Choice Air and then going to the airline (in this case United) and paying to upgrade to Economy Plus? I was able to upgrade to business class last year however this year I don't have enough miles:(

We've done the same tour 9:00 tour with Calabaza this past February and had no problem. It's a great excursion!!

Would anyone be able to recommend a hotel in Civitavecchia that doesn't have a lot of stairs to navigate. I have MS and while I'm able to walk stairs, I would have a difficult time handling the stairs when carrying luggage.
Thanks!

Great point. We've never even considered purchasing anything fry the mini bar. We also have the room attendant empty the frig when we first get settled in.
I'm sure there are those passengers who don't think twice about purchasing things from the mini bar so for that reason I doubt celebrity would remove that cash cow.

On the fence about upgrading to aqua class on an upcoming transatlantic cruise. Appreciate hearing from anyone who might have stayed in cabin 1563.
Wondering if there are any issues with noise from deck above and whether the balcony has an obstructed views. Thanks.

We will have a rental car and plan to use Montepulciano as our base and take day trips from there. We are more interested in taking in the everyday experiences of Italy - small villages, wineries, food and people watching - than formal sightseeing.
Appreciate the suggestions given.

My husband and I are going to spend a week in Montepulciano and then would like to move to a different location for 2 nights prior to leaving on a cruise out of Civitavecchia. Prefer to be no more than 1.5 hours away from the port in order not to feel rushed getting to the ship the morning of embarkation. We are considering Orvieto appreciate your suggestions.

I've searched online and was unable to find a review of Reflection's cabin 7247. We normally stay on decks 9 or 10 but saw 7247 come available and I liked the fact that it was mid-ship near elevator. Curious to know if this cabin is quiet and whether the bed is near the balcony or bath.
Thanks!

Any recommendations for a tour company that does ship excursions to these three places? Thanks.
Hi, my husband and I are going to be visiting Marseilles in October and I ran across a thread where you were looking for a private tour during your visit. Curious to know if you ended up with a private tour and whether you would recommend them.
Thanks,
Anna Marie

Hi Fellow Cruisers, curious as to whether any of you have staying in Cabin 9284 on the Reflection? Appreciate your feedback on noise. Appears to be a great location - near elevators - but I'm concerned about possible noise.
Thanks!

Wondering if anyone has stayed in cabin 1073 on the Silhoutte. Haven't been able to locate a review and was curious as to whether the fact that it's close to the elevators and stairs made it too noisy.
Thanks in advance.

Oops, sorry for the confusion. We just got off the Eclipse in February - we will be on the Silhoutte in April for the Transatlantic.
Cabin Reviews
in Holland America Line

Hello,
After many years cruising on Celebrity, we thought we’d change things up and try Holland. Is there anywhere one can find reviews on specific cabins? Celebrity has a great thread on cruise critic that cruisers submit their reviews of cabins. We’re going on the Rotterdam and would like midship with no known noise issues.
Thank you in advance.
