  1. I'm at the 21 day mark today and completed our check in at 100 %.

My question is when can you print them off? Am I rushing them? It saying 21 days they would be available if payment is complete and check in and that's done.

Thanks for you help and I hope you too have a cruise booked!

South Shore Park is a cliff top park off of the South Road that is on a cliff between Horseshoe Bay and Warwick Long Bay. At Horseshoe Bay there is long road down to the beach. The park has trails but it is above the beaches. The cliff gets less steep at the Warwick end of the park. That’s why you don’t want to go to the next stop past Horseshoe if you want to walk the beaches. You would be far above the beach. Great scenic view of Horseshoe but you won’t have beach access. Hope that is understandable. Looking at a map it may not be apparent.

Thank you so much Charles I'll start at Warwick Long Bay as you suggested.

The best stop to go to past Horseshoe for walking several beaches back to Horseshoe is not the next stop. You would want to get off at Warwick Long Bay. Tell the driver you want to go there and ask the driver to call it out.

Would that be closer to South Shore Park?

Yes, you can opt out of the transfer.  They normally just add it when you get the airfare but it's not required.  You can also look at the post-cruise excursions that take you back to the airport.  Sometimes they are cheaper than the transfer and a good way to kill time if you have a later flight.

Not sure when I find out all that info on flights. I might use uber thanks

From Ottawa it is the same great air rate.  I cancelled the NCL transfers as we can get an uber or taxi cheaper than the $95.32 p/p

Are you going to New York and getting a uber cheaper? Didn't know I had a option to opt out of ground transportation. I did that once on our first cruise and didn't care for it waiting until the bus filled up.

  6. I booked for the first time the NCL air because of the deal from New Brunswick to New York 252 Canadian for both of us. A good deal !

My question is the ground transportation of each $95.32 that's added is that for a coach bus to and from the airport/ cruise port? Thanks in advance

NCL shared some 2022 cruising protocol info today at this link:

    www.ncl.com/travel-requirements-by-country

Be sure to scroll down the page to the "by country" section to view the Bermuda protocol specifics.

Kind of sounds like even getting off the ship is going to be an involved process..... 😲

Sure hope these change before I sail in the fall.

  8. This is the company NCL has working outside Miami port for us Canadians to get our PCR test done.

When you first step foot on the ship I would do this it was a worry for me the whole cruise. Internet is free and good at port.

The test cost $125 USD and is within walking distance leaving the terminal near the parking garage. Results were emailed within a hour.

Did anyone do the pcr test at the port after?  I heard it was done on board before and now it's at the port.

How did it go?  Did you get lumped in with incoming cruisers?  How early did they start?  how much was it?  did you get your results in a timely manner?

    Thanks,

    Michelle

They just stopped doing it on board. Had to pre register on board with this company every person have your credit card with you while using internet minutes. $125 USD each. It's located right near the parking garage walking distance. Got the results in one hour!

We were on RCL's Odyssey of the Seas on 1/9/22 and hubby tested positive for Covid on 1/13/22.  We are currently waiting out our 11 day quaratine before we can return to Canada at the Embassy Suites.  I am negative so I am still going to need a negative PCR test to fly home on 1/24/22 @ 8:30AM.  I want to take a RAPID PCR test on the afternoon of Friday 1/21/2021. Does anyone have any recommendations of where to go?  This spot is just across the street but the test is $179.  I know RCL is supposed to cover it, but I figured I might as well try to save them a little if I could 🙂

I personal would have your husband tested again different company. It happens false positives, I don't suppose you took any at home test with you to help you confirm?

We are from Saskatchewan and travelled by car to South Padre Island, Texas, on December 31.  We were extra careful on our entire 30+ hour trip, not interacting with anyone, not dining indoors (yes drive through only or curbside pickup), KN95 masks everywhere, running quickly into bathrooms (and only if not crowded).  We disinfected all rooms we were in, even though we arrived late each night (probably many hours after anyone had been in the room).  We did notice the "relaxation" of rules as we drove south, but we still felt much safer than friends who have spent countless hours in airports and planes (several of whom have tested positive).  We are in Texas now, enjoying the mild Gulf Coast weather and beaches, but still very cautious with distancing, masks, etc., as many here seem to ignore the fact that there's a pandemic.  Indoor restaurants are packed, many don't mask, and people still meet for events.  We are not looking forward to our border adventure going back at the start of March, but we're trying to not focus on something we can't do anything about right now.  Who knows how things will change by then??

Continue to have a good time and hopefully Canada will get smarter before your return.

  12. Is NCL and Carnival in the same terminal in Miami?

I'm getting the same address 1015 North American Way. I'm actual going on both b2b Conquest then Getaway next week so excited hope we all pass our covid test and the ships sail. Which way would be the best to get from ship to the other? I'm putting address in my phone for uber before I leave to be prepared.

Thanks for any help you may have for me. I hope you all get to cruise again!
