I have my time dining. When I check in. Do I have the option of requesting a high chair on the app? Or do I tell them when I get seated?
Also…Are the sugar free desserts at the MDR any good?
-
Ok, thanks for the info. I was just wondering.

I don’t know how to reply individually to everyone. I will be sailing 8/27/22. I did not know about the vac’s for kids under 4. I’ll look in to it. I haven’t cruised with little ones in so many years I forgot about the other things we can do. I’m just nervous and excited at the same time. Still a bit disappointed that Camp Carnival is closed. I would have loved to take my son there so we can play together in that area. Regardless we will have a blast. Thanks for the input.

Are we able to order more then 1 entree or appetizer, etc. on specialty dining restaurants? Is there a charge or menu for 3 year olds?
-
Anyone else cruising with little ones and a bit upset that Camp Carnival is not allowing any kids under 5? After I booked our cruise and paid for it in full I was told no Camp Carnival even though my son needs to get tested twice. Any other things for a 3 year old to do apart from the splash area? Has anyone cruised lately? What did you and your little ones do?

Thanks for the info. The reps I have spoken to have been no help. So no answers to my questions. I don’t want to upgrade the package but thats my concern. I’m thinking they will increase the drinks and most drinks will be above $12. I sail in Nov.

Does anybody know if Princess will allow us to upgrade the drinking package to the new one?
Do the minors also have to upgrade? They currently have the coffee/soda package already.
And one more question will I need to pay the cover charge at a restaurant for my 2 year old even though he lives off air now and days?
I have been so disappointed in the customer service department with Princess. I was on hold for over 5 hours to end up with no assistance. To say the least. Ughhh venting over! Hoping you guys have some answers for me!Thanks in advance!

Question on the new drink package. I will be sailing on the Discovery and when I booked I added the all inclusive drink package, well a new package came out covering drinks up to $18 dollars. Are most of the drinks that much now? It also mentioned that it covered new mixology drinks. So that’s my question Are most of the drinks over $12 dollars since at the time that was the package I got. Any one have pictures of the drink menus?

Hello!
I have a question. I know someone mentioned that the Gong Cafe was removed. But is Crooners and the Bellini Bar still there?
-
How exciting! I’m a foodie so post plenty of everything. Including drinks. That’s a bummer that they removed Gong Cha Cafe. I was looking forward to ordering from there as I’m a big fan of those types of drinks. What did they replace it with? And what new food items in the MDR did you come across?

How do I order the flavored smoothies? Are these available on the Royal? I was bummed out because there are no shakes. I will also be ordering the mocktails you listed but there is a debate where some bar tenders only allow you to order what’s on the menu?

It has been a couple of years since I was on Princess however I thought most cruise lines offer free iced tea at meals.
Yes iced tea is included but I like the specialty iced teas.

Please post food and drink pictures of the Royal Princess. Everything is welcomed. I will be sailing on her soon!

I was going to get the soda package and add the coffee card because it’s cheaper that way, but I get an iced tea for lunch and dinner and that’s a punch on the coffee card so it’s better for me to get it combined and now everything is unlimited.
-
Thanks everyone for your input. I can’t wait. Few more questions. Does this ship have a swirls or coffee and cones? I’m getting the soda card that’s combined with the coffee card. Am I able to use this card for the specialty items at the Gelato bar or only milkshakes if available? Also what’s the difference on tea time from the complementary one and the sur charge one?
-
What’s the difference from the free one and what’s the difference from the other two?

Input on Royal Princess. Pros, cons? How’s the food? I’m getting the bev/coffee card that includes all types off coffees correct? Does this ship have milk shakes? Any other info is appreciated. I’m a huge foodie so keep it coming.
Also does anyone know why my picture keeps posting side ways?

Some people just enjoy seeing what's going on for their next cruise. It could be for people that love to plan ahead of time, newbies or people that get excited and have something to look forward too.
-
No charge for kids. It's on the kids menu. Adults get charged. Not sure how much because I have never ordered it. Bring your own chocolate packets so you don't have to pay. Milk is included and available all the time.

Sounds like the lady freaked out. However no need to get that way. It's her own damn fault for not knowing what the schedule at Pelican Princess was. When you enroll your children you will get a pattern and ALL the daily activities are on there. So you know exactly what the kids are doing and where the kids will be. I have also (spied) I mean checked up on the kids when they go for ice cream or pizza and it's well organized.
A pager is given to the parents, and it's your choice to call or stop by to see how the kids are doing. My niece loves Pelican Princess.

Yes, for lunch the regular menu is available. It's also available at night. I was on the Crown in Nov/Dec and went one night to try it. It didn't look appetizing so I ordered a cheeseburger instead. I will be on the Crown next sat and maybe I will give it a try. I seen someone post chicken wings. Hope it's on the menu next weekend. Looks like the menus are different on each ship.

Thanks for the info. I'm a huge chocoholic so even with the all inclusive package I'm still going to try a couple on this cruise and a couple in Dec. I've seen pictures and the cocktails look delish. I love the Martinis at Crooners and the chocolate ones are yummy!
-
Thanks so much for the info. It's sad to hear the drinks are not part of the beverage package. This makes me really sad. 😢 I will at least try two. I too will be on the Crown in a couple of weeks and in Dec. At least I know where to find them now.

Has anyone tried the new chocolate cocktails? Are all the new chocolate drinks under $10? Are the drinks available at all the bars? Any info would be appreciated. I want to know how yummy they are! 😃
Tumbler question!

Are we allowed to bring our tumblers on board and fill them up with water, iced tea and lemonade, etc.? Can we fill it up directly from the drink station?
Thanks!
