  1. Thank you Big M, should have said memorial instead of Peace park,

Thank you RoC, would love to hear from you after your visit, we are big history fans and want to see as much about WW2 as we can

  2. are there plenty of taxis here that would make getting to the Japanese Naval HQ and the Peace Park and Musuem easy from our ship? Does anyone know how far away from one location to the other is? Will be there in March!

    Thank you

    Debbie

  3. couple of months we will be on Prinsendam for her transatlantic cruise, we have a 50$ per cabin beverage pkg as one of the perks, is this just soda and water? Which will be nice since that's what we drink? Haven't seen one this price ever! Laundry, does ship have fill your bag as many times during cruise for one low price, such as 25$ each time? Had this on Maasdam and loved it!

Oh, and where do you find if your CCL stock has been posted on my HAL documents?

    Thank you

    Debbie

  4. Hi Kazu,

What a great review, couldn't wait to read it every night!

We will be on Prinsendam in Oct.for the TransAtlantic leaving from Rome to Ft Lauderdale. This is our second cruise with HAL, first being on Massdam last year for 28 days, thoroughly enjoyed it :D

Just a couple of questions if you please, how is the library? Maasdam was wonderful I thought. We always eat at the Lido, I know some people don't understand, we have our reasons like eating when we like and not having such long dinners for a couple. Hoping the food is as good as on Maasdam and crew just as friendly. Oh, and does she have an enclosed space on the upper deck?

Thanks so much for the review and all your info, I was really surprised how much we enjoyed last years cruise:)

  5. to Singapore. Anyone have suggestions for something good and easy to take to eat while on board? Would love to take something a little filling, not much on Delta's food. DH said he was taking a couple of peanut butter sandwiches. Any one with any tips?

  6. Everyone is so nice and helpful, getting a lot of info, and Luv has great videos, if Singapore is as friendly as everyone on this board, it's going to be fantastic! Thanks again everyone :D

  7. Thanks everyone, good info! We are staying at Holiday Inn Express Clark Quay and sailing on Golden Princess April 10. Have two days to enjoy Singapore. Thanks for info on Gardens by the Bay, will an afternoon be long enough to see everything, then maybe stay later for the light show?

  8. I knew about the gum, just wondering mostly about taking water in buildings and taxis. I think I will love Singapore and have no problems at all with their laws. I respect all countries we visit, if I can't I'll stay on the ship

  9. first time in Singapore and Asia. Can you take bottle water in shops, taxis and metro trains? Is the water good from the tap? Also can you take a snack and have it on a park bench in the city? Anymore things I may need to know, we have 3 days there before our cruise and are getting excited! Thanks

  10. Will be on Prisendam in October, 2018 and have a guarantee inside cabin, think cheapest one. Just looked at the cabins on the deck plans and it's tiny. Sure wished I had requested a K or M. Does anyone think I may be lucky enough to get one of those? Was on Maasdam last year and had an ocean view, our first Holland cruise and had a great time. Hoping to enjoy this 26 day cruise as much. Any more info about her would be greatThanks

  11. Thanks for the comments, I'm sure the salad bar will be good. On Maasdam, the bar was large with all kinds of goodies, the server would take a huge bowl and fill it up with what you choose. Toss with whatever dressings you like. Very friendly bunch working there:D

  12. was great in the Lido when we sailed in her last year. Going on the Prisendam in October and hoping she has a salad bar like Maasdam. This is our 2nd cruise with Holland and hope to be as pleased with this second as we were with the first! Thanks for any comments about the two ships that I'd love to read:)

  13. Kieth, that was funny, like that!!

Was on our first Holland cruise this year, they had a laundry bag full for 20$, since we were on for four weeks we used it, worked great, sent it the night before and always received laundry back the next afternoon, once the next morning. I thought I heard someone say the laundry was open 24 hours. Any way it was great.

Love our elite perks on Princess and thankful for them all, I do love Pam's idea about keeping up with the cabins and not abusing the privilege.
