I know one gets $250 for cruise over 14 days. I just checked carnival website and could t find any info on stock credits. We usually do longer cruises but this winter may be doing shorter cruises back to back. Can anyone tell me what a seven day credit is. If cruise is less than 7 is there any credit or is 7 days the minimum
Thanks

If it is a sea day then after breakfast, the lunch menu will be posted outside the main dining room. If a port day, then the dinner menu will be posted sometime after breakfast as MDR is closed for lunch. Hope this helps answer your question.

We were originally booked for land tour prior to September 3 sailing and when I posted a question on these boards, I got answer that sapphire was privately chartered by a Chinese travel company for the entire summer and September 3 cruise would be the first one operated by Princess. Due to several reasons, we decided to cancel this cruise last March. Guess there would be no reviews if this is the case.

Partie Barbie,
Think we were on pacific pricess last November and December with you.
When you return from -Alaska, please post your comments on Skagway zip line. We are on Grand in August and it is either Skagway or Juneau zip line, still undecided. Cannot do Ketchikan as already have a float plane trip booked there.
Thanks

It has been our experience that if a former continental flight( Newark or Houston), then terminal 4, but if an old united (Chicago, Washington Dulles, or west coast then terminal 1.
If you check your flight on flight tracker several days ahead, you can find which terminal you will be leaving from.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info on the ship being chartered. Do you know who is chartering it.
We are scheduled on the sept. 3 cruise out of Shanghai to Bangkok,
Thanks

Does anybody know what is happening to the Sapphire during July and August. nothing is scheduled at the moment. Know it is in Asia. Would have thought cruises would have been published by now. Even if in for refit, that doesn't take that long.
Thanks

We did the 5 day land tour, Beijing and Xian, prior to diamond repositioning in April 2010 to alaska.
Did get snow on the Great Wall but plenty of time there. We found the hotels and food to be very good, definitely Chinese and not American Chinese so some dishes definitely different. and used china airlines to fly to Xian.
We are currently booked on sapphire for sept 3 sailing with land and river cruise beforehand. Would have preferred the October sailing but completely sold out (land portion) so went for late August rather than November and for sept sailing, tour starts in Beijing but actually board ship in Shanghai and ends in Bangkok.
Do need Chinese visa but we got ours before from visa agency in Washington, DC and they were very good. According to princess website, need a Vietnam visa but it is secured when on board.
We did our own air fare before and probably will this time as have enough miles to fly both ways in business. Have used EZair on other cruises and prices have been very good but if you want to lock in airfare then also have to pay cruise in full I believe.
We also had good weather that April, apart from snow, but air was very clean but think end of August could be worse with summer heat.
Hope this helps you.

Not sure if this has been mentioned in previous post but limited time on a computer at moment. Several years ago, we got off a cruise ship and stayed downtown and bought a day senior pass that enabled us to go all over the city and the ferry across to N. Vancouver. This June, we will be arriving in Vancouver but have a hotel booked at airport as leaving early the next day. \is there anywhere in the cruise terminal that we can buy a day ticket or do we have to go to hotel, get a bus back into town and then buy a pass. I am pretty sure you cannot buy it on the bus itself. Any help Vickie, would be appreciated.
Thanks Ann

We did Bruno's tour once and quite frankly enjoyed just going to a motu and snorkelling from there much better. There is a large building right by the dock and can make arrangements to go to a motu for relatively small money.
Raiatea is actually my favorite island. The motu off Tahaa that you go to is beautiful.
If you want something entirely different, there is a hill behind the dock with communication towers on top. There is a dirt path that winds it way up the hill, sometimes have to go around cows and horses that are grazing but the view from the top is breathtaking. You look across to Tahaa but the colors of the water are unbelievable. I found about this in an old guide book that I had.
I am sure that whatever you do, you will enjoy!

On our past cruise, I checked the website for gifts and then called the phone number listed and ordered the credits thru their agent with my credit card and they were waiting for me when I boarded.
Hope this helps.
