We are cruising out of Venice in October and after considering a few options we decided to book at Marriott's AC Venizia. Having not stayed yet i cant comment on the facilities other than I know it is fairly new. What attracted me to this hotel is that it is adjacent to Piazzale Roma and the people mover to the port. It may be worth checking it out for your trip.

Try parknfly they normally have a special on their website, set your dates, and see the pricing. Usually you can pay $20 over the self park rate for valet. 19 days will run you about $135.

I am typing this as we are waiting for our flight to leave CPH. We did a trip to Elsinore/Helsingor, it is a 1 hour train ride from Copenhagen central train station and there are a few sights to see: Kronberg castle, the setting for Hamlet; the Danish museum, built into an old dry dock; an art gallery and the town itself. Admission and transportation is included with the Copenhagen card.

I flew into Heathrow on AC from Toronto about 3 weeks before the 2012 Olympics. The flight was the only non-red eye leaving Toronto in the morning and arriving in the evening. We stood in the line for passport control for at least an hour and a half, had a 3 minute interview and by that time our bags were lined up in the baggage hall and it was another 5 minutes until we were at the curb.

9:45 is tight, however, I have done self walkout in group 1 in Fort Lauderdale, been off at 7am. It's a 10 minute cab ride to the airport for the pier, so if all goes well you will be fine. If not, it's too late to change the flight so you have no real other choice.

Bank in December 2000 I was on the Carnival Victory with Hollywood Henderson of the Dallas Cowboys. The rumour was he he just won powerball and brought his whole entourage onboard.
