This has been the common understanding with Delta for the last several weeks.   I believe that is why Celebrity has instituted the pre sailing testing requirements for vaccinated passengers.

But it is not a requirement to be vaxxed. They have protocols for unvaxxed passengers. That scares me. I will most likely be masking indoors on the ship.

    Travel related:

Just saw this posted today.  Not familiar with the source or its cited  supporting studies,  but  kind of bursts certain aspects of the vaccination panacea bubble...in terms of spread.

Still worth having imo but testing is a needed adjunct at this point. Masking still  a ?

Guess we,ll do whatever is required for our Jan cruise...hoping things improve by them.

95% of the currently hospitalized patients are not vaxxed. The vaccine is more than likely to keep you out of the hospital. That is what makes it have an efficacy of 95%. Preventing serious illness. I agree though that is sad and it has burst the bubble a bit for me too.

  2. On your own tours are permitted in St. Croix, St. Maarten, St Thomas and Nassau. St Thomas govt recommends all guests wear masks onshore, especially indoors. Unvaxxed guests 10 and older in St. Maarten are required to be tested 2 days prior to disembarking.Celebrity provides on board but I am fairly certain there is a charge to your portfolio. This is what I read today.

  3. I am looking for recent first hand experience in Princess casinos.

    1. What are the current odds offered on the craps table ?

    2. What is the reality of their casino smoking policy ?

    a. Are the “smoking slot area rules” enforced ?

    b. Are there only a few machines in the smoking area ?

    c. Does the smoke encroach on the table gaming area ?

Thank you in advance for your replies.

  4. Betting the don't is a real grind. It is a great way to rack up slow and steady profits. Employing a conservative money management technique, it is a good way to play. Before anyone risks any money on the table you need a COMPLETE understanding of the entire game. A fool and his money can be easily seperated at the tables. I can't tell you how many times I have had to school the dealers on proper payoffs. This is especially true when playing the don't. Many dealers on the ships are very personable,

however, they don't get enough action from the dark side players to be

proficient in paying the don't. If you are going to play you must be able to figure out the proper payoffs instantly. Do not depend on a dealer to calculate anything for you. It is your money and your responsibility to know what you should be payed.

  5. 1. You need a complete knowledge of the game.

    2. Money management and discipline are a must,

Some good books for an undertanding of the game are Craps, Advanced Craps, and Money Management For Gamblers.

They are written by, John Patrick.
