  1. Haven't cruised in a few years, but this will be my 13th? 14th? Carnival cruise in Sept. Does anyone know how much they charge for bottled water at the bars? I have heard the main dining room food has gotten bad. Anyone know? Taking my mother-in-law for her 1st cruise. I never get seasick, but what can I get as an Rx from our dr for that would help if she does? Also, she's not much for formal dress. Could she get by with black slacks and a blouse? Any other changes I should know about? I have platinum. Thanks in advance.

  2. We have taken the fantasy several times and also larger ships like the Dream. I have found the larger the ship, the longer the lines. It is also a much longer walk to get anywhere. We also get inside rooms on the Fantasy, as we have found we are rarely in there except to sleep. Then I don't mind the gentle rocking as I sleep better, so our room location isn't very important. I guess you could say we are easy to please. We love the free room service, the food and service in the room and dining room were really good. The entertainment is awesome. The Mobile terminal is easy to get through too.

  3. We each bring a lanyard with a badge holder on it. We keep our S&S cards in it. Makes it so easy to show the soda sticker and to have quick access to the door "key." This cruise, we are definitely taking a travel game set, and some playing cards. It can get boring sometimes without something to do.

  4. Our first cruise, we had an oceanview window. At the end of the cruise, we realized that only ONE TIME had anyone looked out the window. When we wanted to see the ocean, we went and sat on the deck.

After that, for the next ten cruises, we always got an inside room. I love it being darker at night. Between the darkness and the carnival beds, we slept like babies.
