  1. I am not sure if they sell city passes, I'm sorry id I have told otherwise..

I know for sure that they sell 2 and 3 zone single tickets.

2 zones is for trips to central Copenhagen and 3 zones is our to the airport.

It's not a machine so you pay it at the kiosk.

You can however get the city pass on your mobile phone, just go to Citypass.dk

Another quick note, The Citypass is not the same as the Copenhagen Card.

Citypass is only transportation in zones 1 to 4.

So that's Copenhagen Frederiksberg and the Island of Amager where Ørestad, Christianshavn, Christiania and the airport is located.

Copenhagen Card covers transportation in the entire metropolitan area (Køge, Roskilde, Helsingør etc) plus free or reduced entrance to most sites.

Thank you so much for your quick reply! I at least have some options on how to get to our hotel!

  2. Hi Danish King!

Thank you so much for all your great information. I have a quick question. Our ship will be arriving at Oceankaj August 1. We are thinking of taking the bus to our hotel. You mentioned that we can get city passes at the hut in between terminals. Will there be a person we can buy these from so we can use our credit cards? If its a ticket machine, we only have chip and signature card, and I know it wont work in the machine.

    Thanks!

  3. Hi Ali,

We fly down to San Juan Friday....SO READY TO GO.....lol

Where in Chicago are you? NW side here

we're in a balcony deck 9, heard the rooms have not been redone yet.

Not worried about it, I'm sure it will be great as usual.

    You cruise a lot?

    Hi Mike!

We are about 10-15 minutes west of Wrigley down Addison. We were able to walk there during the World Series..oh man..CRAZY..but totally worth it:D

Even though the rooms are still the same, you will love the balcony. The only issue I had was our mattress. Hard as a rock, but our wonderful room attendant added more mattress toppers. Everything was sparkling clean. What is your itinerary for Friday??

This was our 4th time on Adventure and our 17th cruise.

  4. We just got off the Adventure on New Years Eve. The sauna and steam room is complimentary. It's very nice! Great big showers and towels.

As for the refurbishment, the only real difference I noticed where the water slides, Flow Rider, and new carpeting. Our balcony cabin on deck 7 was not redone. The ship is still in great condition and everyone on board was fantastic!

  5. Given the current US dollar to Euro exchange rate, there's not much that could keep me out of Europe right now. Besides, I live in New York, these things are random and I'll go wherever I darn well please.

I second this, I live in Chicago. We leave in August for our Dalmation Coast cruise. I totally understand some people being apprehensive about traveling , but like other posters have stated, I refuse to change my way of life.

  6. Hi,

We were on the Silhoutte a few months back, and the internet was HORRIBLE. We had the 90 minutes free, and we were unable to use it. We couldn't even log on, it was that bad. Since you are travelling to Alaska, maybe pop into a cafe before you get back on the ship. Most places will have free wifi with a coffee:)
