Just finished 15 days cruise San Diego to Fort Lauderdale Nov 20th to Dec 5th. We were alerted by text message on the 20th by Celebrity of GI bug on board and late boarding d/t extra sanitizing of the ship.

During our cruise people were getting sick, as well, salt & pepper shakers were removed, and we were not allowed to self serve in the buffet. As the cruise con't they removed items from the cabins. All decorative pillows,magazines,and glasses were replaced by paper cups they even removed our bathrobes from our Aqua class cabin. They did attempt to control the virus, they were constantly cleaning,although people were defeating the purpose by reaching under the food guards and touching the food handles and food.

Since Millennium has been Solsticzed, does it have a Molecular bar on board. We have cabin 1140 is this a good location for Alaska cruise? I meant July 2016, would'nt let me change date

Just off the Reflection, try the around the world wine tasting cost is 25.00 but well worth it.... There's a great wine from Uraguay, .. if you do this please post the name, it was great and I don't remember the name thanks

I was on this sailing, the 12 people in the raft ( which looked like inner tubes tied together with rope and gallon jugs hanging off it)were waving and yelling for help. From what I heard they were in the water for 4-5 days.... thankfully they were alive and we were able to help.

We have been on 6 cruises and the only behaviors I have encountered involved the elevators, People with hover round type things and strollers pulling on the elevator no mater how many people were already on it, and rolling over our feet or hitting our legs.... 99 % were great and fun to talk with from multi cultural backgrounds. Don't let this episode affect your opinion of cruising it's great and we love it :)

2008Cruiser - Hi - we are booked at the Marriott for April and the room rate is $427 incl. tax for the night.:eek: Want to try and get it on Priceline instead. Can you tell me exactly what you did to get it for $140, if you don't mind? I have stayed there years ago and it is a lovely property and would really like to get that one instead of others.

Just bid San Juan + resort, my bid was accepted for 125.00 for April 16th, hope this helps

I got the Mariott Resort for 4 days for $122 per day (April 16th to 20th).

I will do a back-to-back cruise on April 20th and April 27th.

My DH and I are on the April 27th sailing, see you on board.

I went out of the site and then back in and it allowed me to bid again, good luck, I bid resort and San Juan and got the Marriott Stellarsis for 100.00 per night, good luck

Did you bid resorts? I have been bidding for two months now for March 22, 2008. I am up to $149 for resort and still getting rejected. It must be a busy weekend( saturday night before Easter).

Carbon - I bid resort + San Juan when I got the Marriott for April 26th. But, Easter is an expensive week so that's probably why so high

$105 rejected. got Marriott Stellaris for F 4/18/08 1 night precruise for $110 goss, $141 after fees. Thanks beachgirl for your info.

We're looking for 4/18/2008. When I booked for 5/5/2007 my accepted bid was $125 but ballooned to $156 after taxes, resort fees, etc. Just want to compare apples & apples. Thanks.

With the taxes and fees it was 136.00 but it usually a 350.00 per night room + taxes.

Very happy with that! I think they would have accepted 70.00 but I changed both destination and price and should have just added one more destination and left price alone. But, now I can cancel the 732.00 hotel and shop with the 400.00 I saved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Just wondering--I just now call or email the hotel to request non-smoking. (I know there is a chance I won't get it) sorry, first time to use priceline.

I called the Marriott Stellaris Resort and they told me all inside buildings in Peurto Rico are none smoking it is a goverment law so don't worry
