I just called to get the beach towel instead of the cheese platter 🙂 on my cruise Sunday. I asked about our drink selection, my husband always gets water and I get the grapefruit juice. I was told I could not get any juices, they don't have them anymore. I hope the man I talked to is wrong.

Kids under twelve have no need being in a lounge anyway. Not being able to be in there is a sacrifice they can make in return for being allowed on the ship unvaccinated. I don't see why vaccinated adults should have a lounge experience diminished just to accommodate unvaccinated kids.
I don't know why all the vaccinated adults even need to wear a wristband. I think the children under 12 would like wearing a bracelet. The majority of the ship then would not have to wear one.

Here's a question: has anyone ordered the BinaxNow Ag card test kits, and then submitted a claim to your health insurance?
I asked FL Blue (I love sites that have an online chat feature) and they said "sure!" and sent me a form. I still need to mail the form with my receipt but hopefully it will pass inspection. I'll be thrilled if they send me back $164... Then I'll just have to decide which spa treatments to spend it on.
Great idea! Going to try that.

We look at the Abbott Binax test as a $25 cruise insurance policy - A plan B reduces whatever remaining stress we might have had.
Why not use CVS or other places as a insurance policy. Just use the Abbott at home and be done; you don't have to drive anywhere. We have a appt. with CVS, and using them as a back-up.

I received one too, is this legit? It states it's a prize, sounds funny to me.

The Insider also wrote this in their article we know this is not true: Masking and Physical Distancing Requirements: Masks and physical distancing are not required for fully vaccinated passengers. Unvaccinated passengers must wear masks and physically distance when outside their staterooms and not eating or drinking. SeaPass cards will be required to enter all public areas of the ship.

We cruise on the Anthem every year. Ship is always spotless, the crew is friendly, service is great. Not one complaint.

You must do it before final payment due date.
After final payment due date there is no difference between NRD and refundable bookings as all bookings are subject to the same cancelation fee schedule.
Thank you for your quick response.

Only switch to a non-refundable deposit if the price is lower, or you can obtain perks (obc, internet, specialty dinner) at the same, or close to the same, price. When you switch to a non-refundable they reprice your cruise at the going rate.
Thanks so much, this really helps.

I realize I am writing this a year after this thread, but couldn't easily find the topic when doing a search. My question is that I want to change my refundable deposit to a non refundable reservation. My question is, Do I do this before or after final payment? My final payment is due in the next couple of weeks.
Thank you.

Yes, I have added my own activities to the Cruise Planner this summer. Previous cruises I could not; don't know when they made the change.

The Spa Jr. Suite has a tub and a separate bath with shower.

I thought of that and have done that multiple times. Sigh.

To check the box I had to do my check-in in another browser.

Easy fix, if you have not found out already. Go to your profile and just input Male/Female or any new info. It will auto change to correct status and points. Still a pain
I did that a few weeks ago and I was back to Diamond Plus, but yesterday when I went to my account I was pregold again. Oh well.

You do not have to pre-pay. It takes a while for the paid grats to appear on the invoice. Eventually, you will see a charge for the grats, and a corresponding credit for the same amount.
Our fare was no different with them. Although I don’t think this is the case, it may be that the pre paid grats are not combinable with certain sales. Read the current flyer carefully to see if some sales are excluded.

Thank you very much for your answer. I will check the invoice when I get it.

When booking your suite that includes gratuities, are you paying for them upfront and getting reimbursed OR just booking and hoping the gratuities are included? I talked to 2 agents and they are saying their computers are not showing the free grats even though I told them the Royal site says the gratuities are included for suites. They did make a call to Royal and told me if I opt for the free grats the fare would be more. Does not make sense to me. I was thinking of prepaying and hoping they get taken off.

Yes I am Diamond and have so many diamonds I do not know what to do with them anymore.
So what does one do..........................hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I sold some of mine back to "Diamonds International" and that paid for a few more cruises!

Did you arrange for taxi to return or did they call one for you?
We told the driver when we wanted to go back the ship. He was there, right on time.

It does look peaceful. And not crowded?
Were there many ships in port that day?
No, not crowded at all. I don't remember how many ships were in port, maybe one other.

Here is some info and pictures from Beach Limerz.
Rent chairs $5 and umbrellas $10 each. If you spend $30 in food and drink they will discount the rental cost of your chair and umbrella by 50%. We ran a tab for our food and drinks and it was taken off when we settled our bill. Taxi is $3.00 per person.

My husband and I were there a few weeks ago and we both enjoyed our day there. Our bill was about $70.00 which included a few drinks, i think we had 2 or 3 appetizers and also chairs and umbrella. Don't forgot that the menu is in Caribbean $'s.[/quotequoted
How did you like it?
Did you do the pay as you go?
We enjoyed our day there and we did pay as you go. They kept a tab for us and even came down to the beach to deliver our drinks and lunch. The beach was not crowded at all and there were no vendors. The beach was beautiful, but some waves as the tide came in. I will post a few photos tomorrow.

Here is a list of cab fares. You will have to find what town/village the rain forest is near.

Wow, looks great!
A few questions:
We dock at 7am, do you know when it opens?
Can you take the local bus there?
Where did you ask to get dropped off?
Thanks!!
I plan on going and I am going to ask the taxi driver to drop us off at Coconut Grove Restaurant.

That's crazy, have the 2 people wear the band instead of the whole ship.
