I have cruise with Carnival 20 times with various children, my kids, nieces, grandkids etc. I have had signed parent consent for my grandson but no one else. I have never been asked for. The only thing my grandson was ever asked, is who I am? Then they tell what a nice grandma he has for taking him.

My husband and I are booked in a spa cabin for the first time. I know we get perks, and one of those perks is 2 fitness classes per person. Does anyone know if I can use my husband's 2 classes or does he have to use them? I do yoga, but he doesn't do any of the classes. There will be a chance to take classes 4 of the 7 days and I would love to be able to use his too and not let them go to waste and have to pay for 2 additional classes.

Does anyone know why the Sensation is leaving Port of Miami earlier? I got an email saying they are leaving at 3:30 PM

The times I did speed tests my upload was 2-5 times faster than my download. On my live review I only had problems uploading pictures once. That was on Nassau day. I was still able to get them all uploaded but it took 3-5 attempts for each picture. The other 6 days...no problem.

Well I uploaded tons of pictures in my review thread on the Dream last week. I have did have problems on Freedom last year down around Belize. Recent Vista and Horizon reviews show great internet speeds on the new internet system. I’ll be able to experience and document it myself in February.
Greg. How was the speed on the dream. I will be cruising on the Dream on 11/4 and am currently attending Western Governors University, so unfortunately I have class work. I usually don’t a problem on Southwest flights with their WiFi, hoping it the same. On other ships I can never get pictures to post to Facebook.

Video from the zoo. We hired a taxi just outside the cruise port gate for the day. He took us to the zoo and waited, malecon, and shopping then back to the ship.

I have Verizon service so I receive SmartReward points. The points and cash are used to purchase Carnival gift cards. Cost 1000 points + $90=$100 Carnival gift card.

We did this 2 years ago with my family. We rented a car from National Car Rental right there at the marina when you get off the tenders in the long white building. We had a Nissan. We stopped at a large grocery store on the way to the beach for drinks and snacks. The video is Chileno beach.
Day 2 on our cruise we went to Tabascos on Medono beach. Both place were great, but liked our day at Tabascos at little better.

0560018220 I saw this corporate code for Carnival passengers on another post for the Hotel Maya. The rate was $119(instead of $239) and you could park your car for up to 7 days.
I booked it directly on their website.
This code brings up the Carnival Crew rate and it states you need a crew ID badge. Do this code work for cruise passengers too?

We did the 2 day in Cabo cruise and went to both beaches. We rented a car and went to Chileno and it was ok. We stopped at a local store and stocked up on drinks and snacks, I brought a beach blanket from home and we had a nice time. There were a lot more people than I thought there would be. We went to Mendono beach the next day and hung out at Tabasco's. We preferred Tabasco's, beach chairs, good food, less crowded and we were able to rent a jet ski.

My family went to Tabasco's on Medono beach in Cabo. It was the last little beach restaurant in the line. I was great for my kids not wild parties, good food at a good price, and a jet ski rental next to it. My kids and hubby jet around the ship, we used they beach chairs, and had lunch. They also have clean restrooms.

We just got off last Saturday, Dive in Movies-Grown Ups 2, Godzilla, The Fault Under Our Stars, Malificent, Rio 2. This what I can remember. It seemed to me there were less shows in the show room. We did go see the family comedy show and he was good.

We are headed on 9/1 on Carnival Victory, and wondering the same thing. I am hoping Half Moon Cay just got a drenching with no damage to structures (cabanas). I have on rented for Wednesday.

We have done the flight from FLL and Port of Miami bit several times. We have always rented a car and dropped it off at the Miami airport and taken the free shuttle to cruise port. Don't know if that helps or not.

I keep reading about the bathroom being near cabana 9' date=' but the map shows it being between cabanas 6 and 7. Are these two different restrooms, or is the restroom on the map in the wrong spot?

There is one behind cabana 9, we had cabana 8 in Dec and it was a short walk up the slope to the wooden walk way right to the restroom. The walk from that area to the dining pavilion was not to far either, may be 2 to 3 minutes at most and it was paved. Bathrooms were nice and clean, every time I went there was always a lady cleaning up.

I just read on cruise critic the review for Half Moon Cay and I read that there is a water park for kids. Has anyone been? Where is it? Free? Pictures?

It is similar to playground equipment with a water source attached. Smaller kids 2-8 will enjoy but it's not fancy type water park.

It can get chilly on the ship in the dining room and theater.

My family sailed on the Victory the second week of Dec. I had me, hubby and teen son that don't get into the party scene, nothing wrong with it just not our thing. My older son and his two friends were also on the same cruise and partied like rock star with the Cheers package. We all had a great time. Me, hubby, teen son, teen niece and grandson are set to sail the same ship and ports (5 day) Sept 1, because we all had such a good and love the ports, including Nassau ;). You can find what you are looking for as far as level of excitement that suits your tastes.

White Sands resort also has free WiFi, we had lunch and posted to facebook while waiting for our food. The view was great.

Last Dec we did it with an 11:50am flight and the other family on MJS shuttle had a 10:30am flight we all made it. We caught our shuttle about 9am, we got off as soon as we could and the lines through customs were very short because we were some of the first off the boat. We got to FLL to earlier and had to wait 20 minutes to check our luggage. When you get to the security line and it is extra long, let the agents know your flight time so if its gets close they will move toward the front of the line.

We are booked on the Victory sailing Sept 1 and I booked with an independent company, Shore Excursions. They offer transportation to and from the ferry, and passes to Blue Lagoon, both beach day and dolphin swims. Carnival doesn't have it on their website that I could see.

If you haven't paid off your cruise in full yet, they do price adjustments. If you have paid off in full you get OBC. The other option is to change to a different cabin in you wish.
-
The was no fee.

I ha e been to British Colonial several times. We enjoy the beach and the pool. It’s a short walk from the port, and you get a food credit.
