Thank you all for your advice, life can sometimes be cruel and I can't believe this is happening 2 months before the cruise we booked a year ago :(. I am determined not to cancel and as you have all said, cruise lines are used to people with restricted mobility. Thank you for the wheelchair link- I may.need a minor op on my knees before going so may buy one anyway!! Thanks - you have all been really kind
you may also rent a scooter from a company which specializes in providing scooters for cruises. you rent it for the duration of the cruise. I have used one several times and it came in super hand especially for walks on shore. visit the disabled cruise travel threads on this board. those folks can be very helpful.

I am assuming that I can use my smart phone with wifi connectivity to download my email and surf the web. no text and calls of course. anyone have any thoughts on this?

we need these born complainers to keep trashing MSC so that the prices remain low for the rest of us. Lets face it, no matter what nationality you may be some people are just negative. they expect everything in life to go their way and when it doesn't they just wallow in the negative. and boy are they ever vocal! so let's let them continue to book msc for the low attractive prices and then rant on when there isn't ketchup and ice water on the table when they arrive at dinner. The rest of us enjoy the best kept secret on the seas!

Doremi doesn't include coffees. It's fresh fruit juices, smoothies, milkshake s and non alcholic cocktails.
Coffees are available at almost all bars.
So where do i get iced coffee and how much is it. i think on opera there was a proper coffee bar where we could get our iced coffee and cappuchino

hi sailing msc again after one other trip several years ago to panama canal on opera. i don't recall the cafe speciality coffee arrangements we encountered back then.
i don't drink alcohol in any form, nor am in interested in soda. i do enjoy specialty coffees and will be spending much of my time hanging around where the specialty coffee is being served. on Divina that would be in the gelateria correct? and it looks like doremi with its vouchers would work for me although specialty coffee is not specifically listed in the description. anyone know for sure?

thanks so much for an amazing review. I have an aft cabin position so it's tailored to my needs. I've sailed msc before and even then many of the americans were obnoxious, particularly seniors! so funny!! but I don't let others make or break my cruise experience.
Hi terry ,I'm on divina for these two weeks as well. see you aboard!
