We went to chops this week on Enchantment, we won't be going again.

I ratted out my neighbors on Indy. They started while we were at the pier before muster and didn't stop day after day. I called and complained. When it didn't stop I engaged cabin attendant and deck supervisor who stopped by to discuss it with me. Day 3 when it didn't stop I tweeted Royal who contacted the ship. The offenders didn't speak english and weren't from the US so they found a crew member who spoke their language. Day 4 when it continued I spoke with the Diamond Concierge and explained who all I had spoken with about it from day 1.
They eventually stopped. The deck supervisor stopped by a number of times to check on it.
I let them know it wasn't complaining to get something, I just wanted it to stop. I came back after dinner and found an FCC letter on my bed for $230 (percentage of cruise fare arrived at this amount). I assume that was funded by the fine my neighbors supposedly had paid.
So don't take no or let a GS person who doesn't feel like dealing with it stop you. Call security, not just guest services. Escalate from there if it doesn't stop.
We have found the deck supervisor to be much more help in stopping it. Security is pretty useless unless you have proof, which we did.

We had the same thing happen a year ago on Liberty. Filter was grossly dirty, had to throw a fit to get it changed. Looks like nothing has changed!

We are on it right now, one of our best yet. Do not hesitate to book it. Only negative, they can't keep the ice cream machine full, and I love my ice cream cones!

On Vision now, we are scheduled to be on time. We have a missing crew member that they are looking for. So far not looking good. Seas are really bad, with high waves and much glass breaking. Hope he didn't fall overboard.

Just received a call from corporate. They said many things on this cruise were not up to their regular standards and they left it at that.
WOW, that's quite the cop out. If I pay for a cruise I expect it to meet my expectations. It's a shame they don't seem to care sometimes.

On Liberty, We had medical emergencys and maybe we are hurrying to get them off. Also many are getting off in Miami for a limited amount of flights, so some took a really early flight hoping to make it.

We are rocking a little, but nothing too bad. I'm a loyal Royal cruiser, but the way they handled this is ridiculous. Hopefully we can stay on as long as needed.My thoughts are for people coming down, because no one had the smarts to know this was gonna be bad. Although news has had it on for almost a week. All captain could talk about was how we would have you at the port on time. Whoopee

Person on board with us, had a son who works for customs, said they were having a conference today at 2: 30 to try and decide if they can make it. If not we can't get off the ship.

Sitting in the diamond lounge and at this very minute there are two refrigerated trucks unloading. Looks like produce and milk items.

Our room on the Navigator just would not cool down. Called maintenance and they came and changed out our filter, which was horribly dirty, and had a cool room the rest of the trip. Never hurts to check.

Rumor mill has it RCCL is looking into how to implement a $7.95 "get out of bed" charge each day, so I think they will get us either way. :D
Please, don't give them any more ideas!
