Hoping you are still around to help me out. We are thinking of taking the ship's tour to Grenada. Can you tell me how far it is to Alhambra but where bus might drop you off and if it is easy to get admission into it and the gardens or do you have to pre-book? Do they also offer tours there.
thank

Our cruise will be stopping in Le Havre for a day and we would like to visit Honfleur. How do we get there? I've read about the bus, but with the schedule being infrequent and us not speaking French it just seems too stressful.
We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids). To fit us, we need a large van taxi that accomodates 5 passengers. Can we count on finding a taxi at the port? Is there a way to pre-order a taxi? Also, how do we get a taxi to go back to port?
We have just returned from a cruise to this port. We were a group of 8 and got off the ship and found a wonderful taxi driver who spoke good English. He took us to Honfleur for 50 euros for 2 people and waited 3 hours while we toured the pretty town and then returned us to the ship or the town of Le Havre or a nearby shopping center. His name was Rabah and you can contact him at taxi043@gmail.com
or phone 0033671713285
Saturday is market day so that is the best day to go.

I have read about taxis that will go from Le Havre to Honfleur for 30 euros. Are there any private tour companies that will take you from Le Havre to Honfleur and maybe a couple small towns also?

We're sailing on the Allure in November. It's a Western itinerary 7 day cruise that stops in Nassau, Jamaica, and Cozumel. I cannot seem to find a cruise compass for it. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
How can you see the Cruise Compass for the Allure sailing in the Western Caribbean in 2016?
thanks

We went on an amazing tour of Bali with Komang Wardiapa on Feb 20 & 21, 2013. You can contact him at Komang@bali-go-round.com . I could tell right away that things were going to be well organized as he replied promptly to my emails and answered all my questions. We arrived on a cruise ship that stayed overnight which allowed us do a tour on 2 consecutive days. We did the Absolute country Side Tour visiting Tanah Lot Temple, Jatiluwih Village of beautiful rice terraces, Ulun Danu Beratan Temple on a lake and an art market. On the second day we did the Ubud Tour visiting a 14th C temple, some art villages, a Balinese house compound and the Monkey Forest. Komang was very accommodating and flexible which was a good thing as our ship arrived 3 hours late and he had to rearrange some of our plans. We had a driver and Komang, the guide, and a large, comfortable 12 seater AC van for the 10 of us. The cost was very reasonable for the day and that included everything as well as all admissions and lunch. Komang’s English is excellent and he was very helpful with all our shopping and money exchanges. I can’t say enough about how much his infectious smile, outgoing personality and friendliness made this an exceptional tour and the highlight of our trip.
Just wondering if anyone has experience with Amertha Dana drivers in Bali? I got the recommendation from a travel guide, but I was curious if anyone has first hand experience with this company? If not can you recommend a driver for one day in port?

We also used Patsy Little, wonderful guide and very adaptable.
