  1. We are only on the 7 day (last part of the above itinerary)

    Bridgetown, Barbados

    Kingstown, St. Vincent

    Deshaies, Guadeloupe

    Little Bay, Montserrat

    Castries, St. Lucia

    Pigeon Island, St. Lucia

    St Georges, Grenada

    Barbados

Does anyone have an idea of what night they may have the deck BBQ?

Also, any "do not miss" hints at any of the above stops?

    Thanks in advance!

    Carole

  2. Thanks everyone. I should have clarified better. We've been on Windstar twice before and have enjoyed the beach party and the on board BBQ party. I was just trying to figure out if anyone had been on this particular cruise that could tell me which port the beach party is on (assuming Pigeon Island from the above responses) and which night/port the BBQ is. Trying to plan dinner reservations and excursions. I know that the excursions get you back in time to catch some of the beach party, but would rather not do excursions that day. We love the beach party!! :-)

Thanks, again for all of the input. If anyone has advice on what "not to miss" on this cruise and/or hints about BREEZE. Would love to hear it all!!

    Have a great night.

  3. Hi.

We will be on Breeze 11/25 for a week. Caribbean Legends. Would like to know what day (port) the beach party is AND which night (port/sea?) the deck BBQ is.

Any other info is greatly appreciated. Singers/entertainment on board? Any favorite you think we shouldn't miss? Hints/tips? It's our 3rd Windstar cruise. (Surf, Legend now Breeze)

We were supposed to go on the 12/23 10 day Gems of Leewards and so depressed about losing Jost Van Dyke on NYE. Hoping all of the islands and families rebound quickly.

    Thanks in advance

    Carole

  4. Just now seeing this NOVA CRUISER!!! THANK YOU for the info. YAY!!!

Can let Carole know that Davis Bynum Chardonnay is available by the glass - at least in the restaurant. I took a photo of that page and will attempt to post when we get home. It was not on the bar menu but I'm sure you could get it.

They did have a fluffy pillow for me upon request.

The deck bbq was tonight and really fabulous. Lots of lobster which I know makes a lot of folks happy. [emoji3]. The cherry on top was the music afterwards. Some of the crew performed in addition to the professional musicians and that is always fun.

In case I forget to mention this later in my comments take bug spray to Culebra. I had spray on the ship but didn't put in in our day pack and am still paying the price.

  5. SB44 THANK YOU. You're amazing. What a quick response.

As far as the package, long story, I got offered an all inclusive deal that included wi-fi, drinks, 3 excursions, and a few other things. I took it, but realized after that it was more than I thought. (subtotal on first page, final total on 2nd page) I made a mistake! I'd like to cancel the drink package, but will lose the other things. I'll figure it out before Feb.

Did you say what room you booked? I think we're in 122. No balcony, but fine by me. The rooms are nice no matter what. I think they're all the same size anyhow, unless you booked a suite.

Have some fun for all of us sitting at home!!

  6. Hi, all.

Great review!!! I'm so glad to hear all the positive things, PLUS it sounds like the tenders may be under control. We're going in Feb. Really hope they don't skip Culebra.

I'd love to know WHICH NIGHT they hold the deck BBQ? Can someone tell me, please??

Also, odd question. I liked the Davis Bynum chardonnay, Can anyone tell me if it's sold by the glass? I bought the all inclusive drink package for Feb, but just read it doesn't include bottles of wine. So, wondering if that's offered by the glass. If not, what Chardonnays are offered by the glass. Sorry, I know that's a bit specific, but I don't drink liquor or beer and not a sweet Chard person. Just hoping I didn't make a bad decision buying the package.

Can't wait to hit the islands again on Windstar. We've been on Windsurf once last year. This is only our 2nd WS trip and we're hooked. Hope the motor vs sail is just as fabulous. Looks like you can't go wrong with the rooms!!

Thanks for any advice you can give.

    Carole
