We just go to the nearest hotel and have them hold our bags for $ 5 and pick them back up later when we are ready to go to the airport. Any hotel will hold them.

I just didn't want to drag them around so we settled on Bags To Go right in the airport, it was only $10.00 a bag.

That's kind of what I thought as well after scrolling down a little but I wanted to be sure because of the conflicting information on the page.

Just doing some more research, the Bags To Go website you can prepay for the bag storage, it's $10.00 a bag which is pretty cheap I think.

My interpretation of the page was that a couple of the sites were open and a few were closed.  If you look at each individual site, it says "open" or "closed".  I assume that is the Covid status.  But I could be wrong.

Most airports have a luggage storage capability.  It's not usually linked to a particular airline and it is a "for a fee" service.   This page has info about the one at FLL.  Scroll down to the Public Baggage Storage.  Of course, you would have to go to the airport, leave your luggage, and then go site see, and then return to the airport.

Googling "fort lauderdale luggage storage" shows a few other alternatives outside the airport that might work.  You would want to contact them in advance, I would think, to make sure what they actually offer.

Thank you. I just tried the phone number for the airport, i had to send an email to support@bagstogo.com hopefully they will respond. I did find those pages but it said that they were closed due to COVID19? I guess you get what you pay for, the bogo flights are not convenient but it is cheap.

  5. Hi, we are getting off the Breakaway July 17th and our flight doesn't leave for home  home until 5:30 can we have our bags taken to the airport and stored until we get on the plane to come home? We are planning on taking the water taxi from Ft. Lauderdale and seeing the sights instead of renting a car and they said they don't take luggage on the water taxis. Sorry if this is a stupid question but we are both noobs when it comes to flying into an airport and having such a long wait to fly home, gotta love NCL BOGO flights.

    Go to http://halfacts.com/pinnacle-class/

Scroll to Main: 1111 -- that's next door to 1115 and will be the mirror image of your cabin.

If you join Cruisedeckplans.com there are a couple pics of 1124 which has the same layout as your cabin, and it's made up as a queen-king.

Thank you for the information, i did find photos of 1111, it was a great help. We are still hopefull for a visit from the upgrade fairy though.

My husband and I booked an inside guaranteed stateroom cabin on the Koningsdam, and we recently received our stateroom assignment. We are in cabin 1108. We noticed the Queen's Lounge is above us. I've read multiple Koningsdam reviews lamenting the noise from this venue, but all of those cabins were located on deck 4. Does anyone know about the noise issues on deck 1?

I'm still crossing my fingers for an upgrade offer. The only thing we have received thus far concerns Club Orange, and we thought it was overpriced.

We also received our cabin assignment today, 1115 so we new to HAL, do they often send emails from the upgrade fairy? I have been looking for real pictures of our cabin, but no luck so far.

  8. +1 here.

We toured the original Garden Villa back in 2003 onboard, it was HUGE. Imagine sailing with that vacant this Friday, the poor butler & concierge would be taking a break (and, without the gratuity coming from the guests)

And, even if OP take the full Suite or Penhouse, would they get (or, negotiate ??) all the Promo perks still good for this month ... that's a riot.

Imagine a private CC Meet & Greet in the villa :D

P.S. off-topic, thanks for the correction on Blue Lagoon/O'Sheehans on the other thread topic (with the disclaimers ...) We much rather & liked BL's older/original menu & not crazy about the new OSH menu.

I asked when I received the fist upsell/upgrade offer, the answer was no, I would get the cabin but none of the extra perks, they are all gone now anyways, but it was nice to dream, heck the GV is 7 times the size of my little cape cod house, could you imagine

  9. WOW!

Most folks NEVER get those offers!

You must be on the "LUCKY LIST"! HAHA!

Enjoy your cruise....and tell them to call ME next time! :D

Not so lucky, I swear it's only because I posted a complaint on NCL's social page on FB about my PCC getting fired and my emails not being returned by ANYBODY, that's when I got the media department involved.

  10. Earlier this week I received an email from the upgrade fairy offering to upgrade us from an oceanview to a suite for $500.00 per person, today I received another email from the upgrade fairy, this time offering us a minisuite for $200.00 per person. So I call the phone number on the email, it says the department is closed and the voice mail was full, so I get on the phone with my PCC I explain what happened, he has me forward the email to him, puts me on hold to talk to someone, then comes back on the phone to tell me it's been approved. He also told me that the upsell department closes at 5:30 but I received the email at 5:50, kinda cruel if you ask me. My fiance is thrilled with having both a balcony as well as a full tub, WHOO HOO:D:D:D:D

I just received my 3rd upsell/upgrade email from NCL, they offered to upgrade me to an SJ Family Suite for $250.00 per person, an SE Penthouse for $500.00 per and the Garden Villa for $750.00 per person, i think i'll pass:eek:

  11. We'll be on the Dawn with you! Congrats on your great deal!

I love the mini suite (and tub... Not like I don't have one at home...but...)

We choose aft-facing balconies now. But if that ever doesn't work out our next choice would be the mini [emoji106]

She LOVES a bath, in fact we have a hot tub at home that she loves as well, especially with her knee replacement surgeries, she wishes she could sleep in the hot tub as it's sometimes the only place where she gets any relief from her pain.

  12. 4pm on the deck above the basketball court. If sailing out of Boston, the planes coming in and out of Logan airport look close enough to touch! They'll have bar waiters and band music on the pool deck, too,

I just hope it doesn't rain on Friday!
