  1. We have been on both the Regal and Royal. We were concerned about the number of passengers on board. We found that it was only a problem was after a show in the theater. We learned to sit in the atrium for 10  to 15 minutes and the crowd thinned out. We are scheduled on the Sky in Dec. We'll see if that happens.

  2. Sorry if I was confusing. Say cruise was $4,000, not including taxes and port fees. I had to pay the $400 for the deposit. Left $3600 on balance of cruise.  When got the FCC the whole $4000 was credited to cruise. I selected to use the $400 I had paid for the deposit to go towards the taxes and port charges, that left $90. I had requested that go to OBC. It does not show up there, but shows up as a $90 overpayment on the payment schedule.

  3. With our cancelled 4/4 cruise we took option 1. A week later I booked a cruise in Dec 2020. I had to pay the $400 deposit, which was reduced 50 percent. A week later my FCC showed up and I called mt PCP and she was able to transfer the entire amount, using the FCC. The $400 I originally paid we used to pay taxes and port fees. I requested the balance to be placed in OBC.It has never showed in OBC, but shows as a -$90 on payment listing. Not sure what that means. I have come to the conclusion that it depends on who you talk to with Princess.

Mexico is reopening in two weeks, some areas a little later.  When our May 6th cruise was cancelled, we switched to a December 10th Caribbean cruise.  I am sure it will happen.

We have booked on the Dec 10 cruise also. We booked later in the year, hopefully seeing how the earlier cruises go. I hope when they decide to start cruising again things are go smoothly.

  5. Sorry about the messing up original post. Tablet thinks it's smarter than me.

We booked our next cruise for December 2020 after our Apr cruise was canceled. We chose option 1. Since the FCC had not been accredited to my account yet, I had make the deposit in cash. We received our FCC this week. I called my PCP and she was able to accredit the full cruise amount from the FCC. She than gave options for the cash deposit. I could apply to FCC, get cash refund (up 60 days to receive), or the one chose was to pay the taxes and port charges. The remaining amount was put in OBC. My one suggestion would be to contact your PCP if you booked directly with Princess. If not you have to work through your TA.

Today we got half of our FCC but nothing on our CC, and nothing for our EZ-air, Gratuities, Taxes or Port Charges. Our Cruise was April 4 on the Ruby, and we choose option #2.  I guess we will keep waiting for the rest of the refund..

I just got my FCC today. I had logged in on my account and only half showed. I than logged into my DW account and the other half was there. I think it depends on who is doing the process. I understand they might be Working from home. We booked a cruise in December earlier this month, planning on using the FCC. Since we hadn't received the FCC I had to make a deposit. Not sure when the FCC will go towards the booked cruise or what happens to the deposit I made. Guess it is time to call the PVP.

We’ve gotten upgraded 3 times for our next cruise. Aft inside to mid-aft inside to mid-aft deluxe balcony to midship mini-suite. The mini-suite happened on Monday.

How soon is your cruise? We have a cruise for this December. An upgrade would be nice. We usually book an inside, but booked a balcony.

  8. We have booked for a cruise on the Sky for Dec 10, 2020. Still have not seen any sign of the FCC on my account. Like a lot of other seniors we booked the cruise and then 2 days later cruise lines started with the over 70's requiring Dr. notes. I was advised by my Princess travel agent that Princess is not requiring it now.  Holding our breath as days continue on. Trying to stay positive.

  9. Our FCC has not shown up. I accepted option 1 for the extra FCC. We have never had FCC before and not sure how it works.  We booked a cruise in December and even though it does not show up on our My Princess, our Princess cruise planner assures me that it was there.  I still had to pay a deposit then and was told that it would be returned when the FCC was credited to the cruise. Does the FCC go into affect when final payment is due? Any help would be appreciated.

  10. I am doing the M&G on the Caribbean princess in April. The coordinator advised to bring about 10 invitations and go to the Guest Services as soon as you board and they can give suggestions as to what Officers who might attend. Not all will be available. Be sure they know when you have planned your event so if it is the next day they can get them out in plenty of time. Your M&G coordinator for the Ruby is Craig Blish  661-284-4417. He can help you set up venues, date and time.

  11. While I was looking at our cruise today, I found another overlook on my part. I think I have it right. I checked St. Thomas again and found we have 5 ships in port. Ourselves and Serenade of the Sea will be at Criwn Bay. I think since we are not leaving until 10 PM, we are going to wait until after lunch and go to Sapphire Beach and let the crowds thin out a little.

  12. I'm sure this topic may have been covered here. Looked thru the last 10 pages and didn't see any, not wanting to go thru all 6768 pages. We will be on the Caribbean Princess Apr. 7. and trying to plan our day. Both docks are great, but just need to know which way to go. Any help would be appreciated.

  13. We have been to both Saphire and Megan's Bay. I think that Megan's Bay is prettier than Saphire, but Saphire is more relaxed. A lot depends on how many ships are in. We usually take the local bus. I believe it was $2 apiece each way. If you take the bus, you have to walk up and down a hill. A taxi drops you off at the beach. We are going in October, but don't get to port until 1:30. Don't know how late buses run on a Sunday.
