  1. I don't smoke but I have a memory etched in my mind of the cigars I saw for sale. It was a street vendor that had a bowl of handmade cigars that looked like cigars I couldn't imagine ever smoking.

They were about 5 inches long and 3 inches wide. They were obviously cigars in a rough state. What I remember is the odd shapes, they weren't wrapped, everyone was handling them and every one was looking and smiling. I wish I would have gotten a picture. The same vendor was selling some kind of alchohol that everyone was grinning over.

Hope you can find him just to see what he's got.

  2. Tender- The small boat that takes you from your cruiseship to shore.

When the cruiseship cannot dock for whatever reason, these little boats whisk you back and forth between land and your ship.

Capers- Little newsletters/agendas for the next day. They tell you about the next port of call, excursions, activities, whether it's formal night or not, when to set your clock ahead or back, etc.

Muster Drill- A mandatory drill for all guests and staff. You put on your lifevest, go to the correct exit from your room and wait until everyone is accounted for.

You are going to have such a good time.

Being a Newbie is good. Everything will be so delightful.

    Enjoy!

  3. Me again. You can bring the bull ship and the collapsing cooler.

you cannot have candles or the alchohol packed in your luggage.

    You can use their irons.

The Barbeque was a joke, right?

Really, and I thought about this for a while, you shouldn't have that much to pack. It's a warm weather cruise. Those kind of clothes don't take up that much room. Have everyone bring smaller suitcases. they will easily fit under the bed. Also, if your big one gets lost...........it's better to have 2 smaller ones.

    Sorry to confuse you.

  4. I had cabin 4140 on the Legend last year. Our cabin was just as you described. You could open the french doors to get a little fresh air. We could only open ours maybe a foot-couldn't open it all the way and you would probably need something to hold it open if you wanted to leave it open.

    Thank you so much.

It just seemed too good to be true to be paying an inside price with the ability to open a door to the outside.

It's those night time cool Caribbean breezes that are so nice when you are sleeping.

    Thank you again.

  5. Here is the web address for pictures we took on our cruise last week.

I am still adding more pics, it takes awhile.

I noticed the picture of your cabin #4136.

We have cabin #4144 and will be going in June out of Tampa.

I was told that cabin 4144 had french doors that opened and had a railing and no balcony. (with obstructed view of lifeboat)

    Was yours that type?

I couldn't tell from your picture whether you had a balcony or a railing.

I just want to be able to open the window.

    Thanks.
