I love punctuation but man...there's a lot of punctuation going on in that post.

Always keep in mind that who you buy from matters. If you're finding a ticket for drastically lower (or even somewhat lower) than the airline itself is selling, you're likely not getting the same ticket. You may be getting the same seat on the same flight, but the terms and conditions can be very different...and usually not in a good way.

Who did you actually end up buying your ticket through?

The tool allows you to  search multiple airlines at the same time... But of course you knew that...  It's a tool... Like any other tool, it can be helpful, but it cannot create the optimum solution without the assistance of someone with a brain.

  2. Go to.  https://www.seatguru.com.    Select cheap flights....   only round trip and one way appear to be options at this point....   if multi city (as in differeent port on debarcation) , just search for first trip to port of departure ....  under traveler. select number and class of travel..... select search.....     notice how multi city now appears....  complete search ....  and notice options along left hand margin....    This tools give you complete flexibility   and appears to be competitive with the cheap business class brokers....

I used it to find. cheapest option to go. to Bangkok from NY and return from Bali in November... Will be flying Premium Economy on Singapore Airlines  ....

Have fun and let me know what you think....

Maybe that just made the decision for you? I’ve just come from Orion. People onboard say it isn’t the usual Viking experience on this ship. I’ve only cruised with less expensive lines like Cunard, Princess and Celebrity. Some things Viking did better, eg the food. Other things the other lines did better. We found Orion to have issues with communicating to passengers. Almost like they don’t want to tell you bad news until there is no more time to wait. If you’ve cruised with Crystal I’m not sure that you should change. Oceania is reputed to have the best cuisine. I don’t know much about Azamara.

Cruised with Oceania Sirena this past April from Buenos Aires to Rio... Food and Service beyond compare...  Have experienced RCCL, Celebrity. Princess, Holland American, and Seabourn.. This will be the first time with Viking on the Orion, Bangkok to Bali Nov 29...   Hope things improve before I get there...  Might be the one and only time for Viking...  But on the positive side.::. Experience tells me that sometimes the crew makes all the difference..   Turnover could be a problem... will just have to wait and see.

  4. Just piping in my two cents... Wife and I were on the Honolulu Sydney Oct2-20th Cruise... Last three days were awful. Rooms need two bathrooms == and I'm not joking.. Crew had hard time filling room service orders... Once you are confined to your room (voluntarily, your TV room service menu screen changes to "Dial 51" for room service, and when called you're told what you can have.. (toast-cold by the time you get it) --chicken noodle soup--crackers---etc).. not a fun time.. Everything served with plastic utensils and paper plates..

    BTW. Sydney Was Fantastic !

  5. Stunning is a valid description… Very elegant.. Rich… and the food was great.. And we thought comparable to the Seabourn Pride… Service was good.. Staff pleasant but not as personable (as would be expected on a ship of this size)
