We just went on this excursion on the April 14 Indy cruise. We also had Angel and Jesus as guides, they were awesome!!! We had a lot of fun, enjoyed the secluded beach, and lunch they served. Only thing is I thought it said snorkel on the description(which we really wanted to do), BUT there was no way we could have done that. The water was pretty rough. It was a great day though! Loved the jeeps. :)

We also just got off Monday(Hi fellow Indy!!! :) ), almost missed our flight, we had to run through the airport. And we did make our flight time after the recommended time that they give. It was crazy, we rebooked onboard for next year, we will make our flight for the next day to avoid all that.

Good approach.
I always think it is wise to just use cash.
I think that way you control losses better.
I hope you win though. :)

I hope I do too Keith!! :D

Thanks!!! I will have cash on hand, not planning on gambling a lot, but may do a little. :)

Have a cruise on Indy in less than 2 weeks, trying to figure out how much cash I will need. I haven't gone on RCCL in a while, so don't remember, do the casinos take cash or can you use your sea pass card? Thanks!:)

Hoping to snag this in a few weeks on our 4 day on Indy. It would be great for my husband and I, we don't drink a lot, so that would be plenty. :)

They served tortillas. Sodas were free and you could but beer.
Thanks! We were wondering. :)

What did they serve for lunch?

Thanks so much for both responses, I was wondering how it worked with RCL, I know different cruise lines can have different policies. We have traveled on mostly Disney, so wasn't sure. :)

Anyone know even partial information. Any would help. :)

So my DH and I are going on Indy(for our 20th wedding anniversary), we are going with 2 other couples. Because they are linked rooms, can we share a CD with all of our pics from all 3 cabins? also, anyone know the price of a CD from a 4 night cruise? I have searched online and finding conflicting answers. Thanks for any help. :)

I'm thinking we are definitely going to go to Coconuts, lots of recommendations for there. :):)

Wow Thanks for letting me know that so I can be prepared. We will be arriving April 13. On the website it doesn't show a date, BUT found another website where it said based on last years event, could be 4/9-4/10. I do hope it's over before then, it could mke the hotel prices go way up.

If you are going on an airboat ride, you should rent a car because the everglades is not close to the port area, and it will cost a lot in cab fare getting there.
An excellent (nice casual) restaurant near Bahia Mar is Coconuts...it's just a couple of blocks away. They don't take reservations so plan to wait. The other restaurants by the beach can be really hit or miss on food and service. Maybe by April Bo's Beach House will have opened (Oasis was evicted recently) and will be good. It's also within 2 blocks of Bahia Mar.
I've definitely been thinking we will need a car, I do feel like it will be easier. With 3 couples, we can't even take one can ride, you know? Thanks for your advice too. I'm the "coordinator" I guess, I've been on lots of cruises and traveled more than both couples, so they are relying on me to "get it together" lol I like to plan, so that's ok. I just want to make sure we have a nice trip. 😊

Ok, so I need some advice on quite a few things for our cruise in April 2016. Some background, my hubby and I doing a RCCL cruise from Fort Lauderdale for our 20th anniversary. We have 2 other couples going with us as well. We will fly in the day before, looks like the flight we will take arrives from Baltimore around 1:55pm. We want to stay at a hotel nearby, go on an airboat ride in the Everglades and go have a pretty good dinner. Not fancy, just good food, and not far away. Next morning, we will go on the cruise. So here are the questions:
1. Should we rent a car(it was a car- now a van)because the other couple are joining us and its more expensive. We would split the price though. Or just take cabs and shuttles?
2. Any recommendations for a great airboat tour company?
3. Any recommendations for a good restaurant, we are leaning towards Bahia Mar possibly, if we don't rent a car, we will walk or take a shuttle?
Thanks for any help!!:)

Thanks for all your replies, that is exactly the answer that I wanted. I will let her know. :)

Ok, so I have looked, maybe not in the right place. I was wondering if you book the drink package, do you have to book it for 7 days? A friend is asking, I am assuming it would be for a whole(7 day cruise- so the price per day), but she wants to know if you could get it for like 3 days. Any help would be appreciated. :)
