Does anyone know if there is a company that will take you to a beach where you can find sea glass?

Does anyone know if there is a beach close to Amber Cove to find sea glass? Or a company that would take you to a place where there would be some? 

A few years ago, there used to be a company that would take you by boat to a small island where you could find lots of sea glass. The company was also know for whale watching tours too I think. Does anyone have any info about this or know who I can contact? 

Where is the best place to park, not at the port? Obviously would need a shuttle. 

We are here today 11/18/22 and saw him just off the pier. 

We are here today on the Celebrity Constellation and managed to see both during our visit! We hit the jackpot. 
 

I had asked a few weeks ago about a small beach near the Capitol Building that I had heard you could find sea glass at.  We decided to go and found quite a bit.  We didn’t stay long. We took a taxi but walked back to the ship.  It’s called Playa Capitolio.  It’s across the street and down some steps near the St John the Baptist statue.  We were warned not to swim there because it was rough and lots of rocks. We felt pretty safe there but were aware of our surroundings.

Then on our walk back, we passed some other cruise passengers and I heard something about my father, hospital, need $10 for cab fare…I turned around and it was him! I told him I read about him on the internet and told the people it was a scam.  They proceeded to give him money anyway. I didn’t get it but that’s on them.

Does anyone know if there is a beach we can go to where we could get massages on the beach on ST?  We want to go someplace that has chairs and umbrellas for rent.

Has anyone ever tried to go to Rompeolas Beach North aka Tamarindo Beach to look for sea glass? I’m not sure how far away it is or if it’s safe to go on our own? 

I just called there.  They aren’t doing day passes. Having trouble finding a resort that does.

Best beach in Nassau to find lots of seashells? Sea glass would be a bonus! 

Also sailing the Pride in January, on the 8th.  How did you get notified?

According to the Celebrity website, when I look up my booking for my 7/3 Alaska cruise, it’s not been cancelled.  But when I look it up on the Celebrity app, it says that voyage has been cancelled.  I know there’s a very high probability that it will be cancelled but I am holding out hope.  Anyone know why the app would say something different than the website? 

Our cruise ends in Seward and I know we need to get to Anchorage to fly home.  I’ve heard about a train and a bus that can get us there.  Can anyone tell me about these options please? Cheapest, fastest, most scenic, etc.  Where do we go to get either option? Will Celebrity sell them as excursions?  
 

We will be flying home to Boston.  Do most people fly home the night of debarkation or the next day?  If the next day, where do you stay?  We are kind of on a budget and are already stretching it so staying extra days isn’t something we can do this time.  
 

I’d appreciate any advice on helping us with our journey home. 

We want to do some sort of historical tour when we are in SJ but I have arthritis in my knees and can’t walk long distances or climb a lot of steps. He can though. We will be on a Carnival ship. I’ve looked at their excursions and the ones through shoreexcursioneer.com. I know the forts and such will require lots of walking and stairs so I can always stay behind. Does anyone know of a specific tour that will meet our needs? Thank you so much.

Is there any place on Harvest Caye to get a massage?

Last time I was in GC, I booked a Carnival excursion that was a helicopter ride over the stingray sandbar, 7 mile beach and the downtown area and ship. Not enough people signed up so it was cancelled. I'm trying to see if I can get at least 3 other people interested so I can go this time. There is another excursion that just goes over the beach and the ship but I am interested in the longer one that also goes over the stingray sandbar. Anyone interested? The date is April 19th.

I'll be staying at the Doubletree near the airport and need to get to the port the following day. It looks like I can take a free shuttle to the hotel from the airport. The following day I should take the shuttle back to the airport and then do the shuttle to the port that is $24?

Will the shops and stores in Hamilton be open on Monday, 9/5?? (Labor Day)
