I like to wait a day or two before pulling the trigger if I decide to upgrade my drinks package. Probably on the first full day or soon thereafter there will be the Captain’s welcome party and an open bar. Also, there are events early in the cruise for repeaters. Both of these are free drink opportunities. Also, I believe embarkation day is counted as a full day for the drinks package, although you might not get on board until the afternoon.
Where on the ship do you upgrade?

We did ours a few years ago in May. Weather was beautiful in Tahiti as well as Hawaii

Thank you all. TA went to Oceania again and found that y'all are correct. One passenger can upgrade, both not required. Thanks again to all the very knowledgeable people on this forum.

Was just informed by my TA and Oceania that both passengers have to upgrade. Not worth it for me now.

Thank you both. The upgrade is worth for me.

Feel like an idiot as I just finished a cruise but cannot remember what a Jack Rocks or any on rocks cost. Will be doing Simply More and debating whether to upgrade the beverage package.
Thanks,

We just used our cc. Sent copy of letter to our TA and she had no problem.

My guess is that they meant no aft elevators to deck 5 you need to go to the forward ones to get to deck 5
That is exactly wnat I meant. Sorry for the confusion.

Guessing they are recessed. We were in 7121 and had no view obstructions in any direction. Don't know what the balconies on 10 and 11 are like but ours was large with 2 tables, chairs and chaise lounges. The only thing we didn't like was no access to deck 5.

Thanks for all the information. Unfortunately, we waitted to long and are waitlisted. We hope to get lucky. Thanks again

Looking at a cruise on the Sirena. Only cabins available are 8000, next to bridge, and 8010, connecting cabin that has sleep sofa. Any pro or cons would be deeply appreciated

My wife swears the best Lobster Roll in Bar Harbor is found at the Thirsty Whale.

I have noticed a number of people mentioning staying over in Southampton. We are thinking about an overnight prior to boarding the Riveria. Haven't seen that many places, can anyone make a suggestion for hotels in Southampton? Much appreciated,

Good Morning Everyone, we have always travelled on deck 10 of the Riviera. We are very late in trying to get a Caribbean Cruise for February, 2023. Have found one but only availability was cabin 11007. Have read tales many years ago about being too close to the bridge and lights at night as well as the overhang from deck 12. Can anyone that has stayed in either that cabin or any of the other ones near the bridge offer their thoughts. Much appreciated as have just a few days to decide.
Thanks, Wayne

Thank you, I knew there was a thread but apparently not putting in the right wording.

Just booked Penthouse 11063 on Riviera's 11th deck. Have read reviews about the 11th deck veranda having an overhang which blocks your view. Has anyone felt this was a problem?

I understand most alcoholic drinks are included with Regent. At dinner, do they offer a group of wines (bottles) to pick from or do they serve by the glass of whatever they pick? If the latter, do you have options if you aren't happy with their choice?
Thanks for any responses.
