Just booked this cruise 😁

Can someone tell me why the cruise didn’t stop in San Juan ? Was the itinerary change ?

Planning to book a cruise that stops in Alexandria and Port Said Egypt. Notice that the tours need to be escorted by police 🤔 gets me concerned. I need input from Anyone that has been there before . 

What is the closest airport to this cruise port ? Any suggestions from transportation to get to Warnemünde? 

Do they accept the cruise insurance? 

My cruise will be stopping at Haifa and Ashdod. 

I follow on Twitter Someone that’s on this cruise and she said It’s a complete mess on the airport . People not in the manifest , families being separated , people struggling to leave the DR without passports etc . Complete chaos!

Taking a cruise with stops at done Spain ports . I heard Spain now requires booster shots to enter country . Does that apply to cruisers too ? NCL hasn’t say anything about it . 

My Norwegian cruise will make a several stops in Spain and I heard Spain change their protocols on February now they require a booster  to enter the country. NCL hasn’t say anything y tú I the cruisers regarding this . 🤔 

How’s that going to affect cruises departing from there ? 

Planning a cruise this summer that stops on Israel. Would I be able to get of the ship. I’m vaccinated but not boosted. 🤔 

Any news about NCL asking guests to use mask indoors like other cruise lines are doing ?

I agree! I’m sure we will all find plenty to do in the evenings. I’d be happy just sitting at a bar or lounge just meeting new people and talking with them. Or even sitting on my balcony with a glass of wine watching the ocean by moonlight.😃

Same here I don’t really care about the shows I’ve seen them all too many cruises . 😀

So,,, how do you know that they don't "even have shows prepared and cruises starting in august". That seems like a very bold, unsubstantiated assertion.

 

Royal didn't announce their show schedule and allow booking until embarkation on their first cruises,,, this is exactly what NCL is doing. And Royal required that you have a reservation to enter the show rooms. Royal was changing their COVID protocols until 2 days prior to us embarking, when some of us were already vacationing at the departure location. 

 

Cancelling the Alaskan season? Again, that seems like a very, very, very bold, unsubstantiated assertion. 

Hopefully not but I’m not that confident on NCL doing the Alaska season this year .

It is typical of NCL to talk about their cruise line as being prepared and preparing ads to generating interest.  I would say that is what they really do well.   It is another to actually do the work.  It seems they are behind their competitors in every category, sail dates, crew, now shows.  They can do a great ad campaign, but actually doing the work is something it appears they lack.  I am booked on an Alaska cruise in September, but my expectations are not high.    

Same here … fingers crossed 🤞 we can do the September sailing !

There aren't many hotels near Frihamnen & it would not be the most convenient area for sightseeing. One of my favorites is the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel & the location can't be beat IMHO.

I have an earlier flight and cannot make changes 🤦‍♀️ Finger crossed 🤞 I can make the flight.

I got the same feeling! Was worried the cruise was canceled when I saw the email 🤦‍♀️

NCL is way behind compare to Royal … why haven’t they started the simulation cruises out of Seattle yet 🤔 now they email us regarding the shows? I got a feeling they will be canceling the Alaska season ugh 

NCL is running behind as you can see they’re not even doing any simulation cruises from Seattle as Royal Caribbean 🤔 I wouldn’t be surprised if they cancel the Alaska season . 🙄 now they don’t even have shows prepared and cruises starting in august ?!? 

Will it be better to get a taxi from the cruise terminal or pay the transfer from the ship ?
