  1. My sister has taken a scooter on the Anthem. We were in a D1. She has also taken it on an inside room on Independence. It has to go in the stateroom at night but as long as you accept that ther will be limited space there would not be a problem. Can't remember if there was a coffee table on the Anthem but this year on the Independence just moved it.

  2. I am sailing on Anthem in August and I am having problems with my set sail pass. This will be my 11th cruise with Royal Caribbean and have never had a problem before.

We are a party of 8 and I want to pay the on board expenses on my credit card.

I can call up their reservations but it just says against their name that, they are paying their own expenses. I have telephoned but they couldn't offer any explanation and just suggested that I pay by cash and change to credit card when on board.

Has anyone else had this problem or is it just an Anthem problem. I would love to know what, if anything, I am doing wrong.

  3. I recently purchased OBC at an advantages rate knowing that out of 8 of us 5 would buy a drinks package when on board. Since then due to a huge price drop I cancelled the cruise and re-booked. I lost the deposit for 8 people but it was still worth while especially as all the adult members now get the select drinks package. We will upgrade on board to the premium package but this will not now use all the credit I previously purchased. Would I get a refund at the end of the cruise?.

We want to book Wonderland and if I book it on board would use some of the OBC but what are the chances of being able to book for a party of 8 at the last minute?. We are on the Anthem in August.

    Thanks for any advice.

  4. I am booked on the Anthem in August. I booked the restaurants for Dynamic as soon as it was possible to do so. I have now changed to Classic 1 but when I check the calendar on my cruise account it still shows the original bookings. I have telephoned and they confirm that I am now booked on Classic.

I would be grateful if anybody who has changed from Dynamic to Classic would check their calendar and let me know if they also still show their original booking. If it shows the new times I will telephone again as I don't want problems when on board.

    Thanks for your help.

  5. I telephoned last week to change from Dynamic Dining to Classic. I asked this question and was told I would be in American Icon on day 1. I asked if I could be in The Grande on day 2 as I wanted to be in The Grande on day 6 my birthday. He then told me that would be O.K. And I would be in Chic on day 1. He said the order would be Chic, The Grande, Silk, American Icon.

  6. Last year my sisters and I were on the Voyager of the Seas. We spent two nights in Barcelona before the cruise and on the first night one of my sisters fell and had a nasty cut above her eye (with a lot of blood) and her foot was very painful. She has problems with her feet anyway and this did not make it any better. We went to the chemist next morning and they strapped it up for her. We then boarded the cruise and she hobbled around as best she could (including a gruelling day walking around Rome in very hot weather). The day after we arrived home she visited the A & E at the hospital and she had broken a bone in her ankle and a metertasel and was immediately put in plaster. We are booked on another cruise in June and she is hoping for btter luck.
