I wrote to them and they confirmed. I would take your chances because they offer chairs to the public next to Hilton. I read this somewhere. Go to front desk. Say you reservations for palapa. Pay. You get receipt then take to beach and chair stand, the set you up/ provide towels. You can use pool. Hope you have no problem.

We said we were guests from cruise ship if asked. Again when I first booked, I was told different things. Sometimes no you ha e to be guest. But I was able to book and waited to closer to the sailing date and confirmed with them they were holding two palapas. Good luck. When you arrive we went to pool and beach house to claim our towels etc. husband was told to go to front desk and pay. Good luck- enjoy

Hello- we felt very comfortable at the Hilton. We recommend and we would go back.

We took taxi from port to Hilton. We did have to wait a bit for return taxi. They do not let you in cab if they think at all you are wet from swimming.

Hello- we went to the Hilton formally the Radison. I had booked through the website. I believe it was 55 per person which include palapa, lounge chairs, towels and use of the pools. While I booked this I got a mixture of responses. Some said for guests of hotel only. I booked it followed up confirming days before trip. I didn’t pay in advance. You pay at front desk. Good luck. It was beautiful

I browsed the internet packages and thought they were on the high side. We need a plan to cover 2 devices. Basically texting, email, Facebook and Instagram. Can I get the cheaper packages of surfing internet and get on social media ? Any suggestions and cost? Thank you for your help.

Husband and I are trying to decide if it’s worth almost $200 to upgrade to Premium? We do like an occasional martini and hoping they are offered at martini bar to classic packages. Anyone deal with this ? Thank you

Husband and I will be visiting Aruba on cruise ship in November 2019. We want to rent lounge chairs and umbrella on Palm Beach. After an email to the Hyatt, found out they do not rent chairs out only to guests staying at hotel. Where is a good location? Also where we could get lunch and drinks.
Thank you.

Hello husband & I will be sailing the Summit on 4/11/15. Can't wait - this will be our 3rd time sailing the Summit! When we went to Bermuda last year; there was a great small group that played in the back of the ship "It's 5'oclock Somewhere" - we loved them - anyone know who is playing now and are they any good? We enjoy the bar and area in back of the ship....
Thank you -

How long did the ferry take to St. John when you use the Celebrity excursion -? Does the ferry actually pick you up right at the dock? We are sailing the Summit on 4/11/15 for the 3rd time - have taken the Red Hook - but getting picked up at the dock sounds more convenient. Thank you!

Hello - I thought I read somewhere on the boards that Celebrity has excursion for the ferry to pick you up right at the dock and take you to St. John. This makes it easier so you don't have to driver to red ferry area. How long does it take to get to St. John from the ferry when it picks you up right at the dock where the Summit is located?
Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the suggestions - will check out the port board and it certainly makes sense to wait and book excursions on the ship. We also have the classic beverage package but want to upgrade to premimum using our SBC. So, we wait for this to upgrade too.

Hello - husband and I will be sailing on the Summit (3rd time for us) We like the smaller ship and had a great time sailing to Bermuda 2xs. We have receieved a great package from our travel agent - A higher amount of SBC - so we are trying to see which excursions to take - Anyone have any ideas - St Croix - Buck Island or caterman and snorkle? St. Kitts offers a caterman and snorkle trip too - which island best to do this? Then to Dominca - we are looking to tour island and see Emerald pool and small waterfalls - anyone have pointers? Also in Grenada we decided to do sites ourselves. Plan to take cab to Anse Beach and spice market - St. Thomas we are not sure ; have been to Magens Bay - Sapphire beach ; ferry to St. John - was looking at the Champagne excursion - sailing and swimming and champagne?
Also if we book excursions online - what is Celebrity's cancellation policy? Can we change or cancel and be reimbursed up to a certain time? We usually do a lot of planning and sight seeing ourselves.
Thank you for your help - Can't wait to cruise again!

Hello - this is second time on the Summit for husband and I. We plan to venture to Horseshoe Bay along with Elbow Beach. What are best ways to get there ? Also what type of facilites are offered at the Elbow Beach - we like chairs and refreshements. I remember Horseshoe Bay having chairs and small refreshments - but what is Elbow Beach like for non hotel guest? Can you get chairs - eat at Mickey's?
Last time we snorkled at the beach at dock and did not care for it - any suggetions would be appreciated. We also checked out St. George last time.
Thank you

Husband and I will be sailing on the Summit for the second time - previously sailing in June 2011. I am looking forward to this cruise. I am surprised to read so many cut backs etc. I hope it's what I am expecting - We received a good deal with our travel agent. Paid Gratutites and Prem. beverage package. We are currently booked for early dining - we would like to change it possibly to anytime dining - anyone sucessful doing this - how was the anytime compared to regular sit down. When we booked - travel agent stated we needed to pick a time as part of our package but could change when we got on ship - any comments appreciated.
