Does anybody know if Princess servers either Canadian Club or Crown Royal on their ships? (asking for my mom as that is what she drinks)

The answer is no, there is no way to know ahead of time where the cabin will be located. You are rolling the dice as to the location. 🤷♂️
Thank you for the answer.

Question, when you bid for an upgrade is there an option to pick where about on the ship the cabin you are bidding on is located? We have not cruised since Covid (got a bonus day on the Regal Princess) and are booked for next May. Thank you

Did anyone else notice that Princess's website shows the Caribbean Princess going out of Port Canaveral next year?

So, if I understand what you're saying, on those formal nights when they really put something special out there in the MDR at no additional charge meaning, as an option, escargot appetizer, steak and lobster main course and special desserts, You'd rather pay US$40/pp for pasta? (I think that's the Sabatini's charge now, whatever it is.) OK. If that's what you want, go for it.
Your question gets asked often and I too have been curious to ask why, but thank you for answering Doug R.'s and my question.
Being I’m highly allergic to shellfish I avoid MDR on lobster night. I can get escargot in the crown grill. I don’t eat carbs so I don’t go to Italian. To each their own for their own reasons

Why do so many cruisers worry about which nights are formal?
Because those are the nights I will book either balcony dining or a speciality restaurant.

Thanks That is what I was thinking as well but haven't cruised in 3 years and this will be next year.

Hi all, it's been a long while since we have cruised (we got a bonus day due to covid on our last cruise) I am trying to guess on what night formal night will be on the following itinerary. I am guessing the second one will be on the second to last sea day but not sure which night the first one will be
Saturday Fort Lauderdale
Sunday Princess Cays 9:00 am 4:00 pm
Monday At Sea
Tuesday San Juan 9:00 am 10:00 pm (too late to be formal Night )
Wednesday St Thomas 8:00 am 5:00 pm
Thursday At Sea (Guessing Formal Night)
Friday At Sea
Saturday Fort Lauderdale

Yes, all brands were between $27 and $45 per carton and cheaper on the ship than in the duty free shops in Cozumel.
Thanks so much.

I’ll do that this afternoon. No worries.
Good morning, It looks like you and your family are having a blast. I so miss cruising. By chance were you able to swing by the shops when they were open? My friends leaves this weekend and wants to be sure she is prepared for the prices of cigarettes Thanks again.

Good morning, Thanks so much for the live. I had a friend ask me the weirdest question as they are fix'in to go on their first cruise ever and it's on carnival. Would it be possible when you are out and about and checking out the shopping on board, to look at the prices of cartons of cigarettes? She wants to budget enough to bring some back for her dad. I know weird question, but I couldn't think where else to turn to find out the answer.
Thanks and enjoy your cruise.- 3

They tried to move us from our favorite cabin (inside sideways up high mid-aft) to another inside lower and forward. Nope If they want to move us to a balcony, then we would consider it.

I have done the upgraded afternoon tea. It was WELL worth the extra money. Wow what an experience. If I still ate carbs and sweets I would do it on every cruise.

Hi all, I'm excited for my upcoming sailing on the Regal Princess,
Regal is out of port everglades.

OP is in a suite so they should have priority boarding
Show up when you want and board the ship. If you want to be there early you will be one of the first few groups that boards. I think it's Elites then Suite passengers.

Look on your items that you want to plug in. If it says 110/240 vac then you are probably OK. There may be a switch on the item somewhere that needs changed in order to work with 240. The ship power is normally 110 Vac and 60 Hz even if using the adapter.
Thank you. I figured someone on here could tell me. Electricity scares me so I normally don't mess with anything to do with it. But being able to plug in my cpap close to the bed would we awesome. This is from the description of my machine So I am guessing this would work. Power Consumption: 80W Power Supply: 100 – 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 2.0-1.0 A

European plug adapters at Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=european+plug+adaptors&ref=cs_500_search
Thank you for this info. Can I ask one more question, do normal everyday american products need a voltage converter as well?? Sorry but I have no idea and do not want to buy these and then plug in something and fry it.
this is part of the description. ****[Please note] - This Euro power adapter for european outlet is not a converter between voltages. Make sure voltage on the outlet and are compatible with the electronics used or getting a voltage converter with this adapter

Part of the transition to the new cabin will be the cabin steward (we keep the same one) will move all of our clothing that is hung up to the new cabin, He will also move our luggage to the new cabin. We are responsible for moving items from the drawers; hence packing the suitcases before transition day. As far as any other activities go, I will probably play it by ear.
When we have had to change cabins, they told us to leave the stuff in the nightstand drawers. Then they just swapped out the drawers with the drawers from the new cabin. Either way, they have it down to a science. Thank you for doing the live.

Would it be possible to let me know if any of the bars carry Canadian Club whiskey? Thanks
