We are coming from VCR and have a few coming/going flights on our TA next April '24. Need to know if they are okay for airlines and on board. No experience but want to be educated for future cruises.

Feed dollars in, play until you want to move and hit "cash out" and will get a paper ticket. Feed into next machine and keep going.
Same as any US/CND or elsewhere casinos. -
Thank you for an informative and enlightened review.
Jewel was our first ship and after 2 more past sailings has been a piece of our cruising history.
May all your adventures be blessed with happiness. -
So I guess if we don't prefer either Mon/Tep we are pretty much hooped for pre booking our restaurants?
-
Maybe enlighten us as when you dock and what time is your transfer booked?

Okay, I'm going to throw this out for discussion.
When I first saw the OP opening post it tweaked something I had read about a month (?) ago with the exact wording including misspelled words regarding locations, problems, etc.
I'm not a cruise novice but yes, a CC research palm against forehead fumblingly around the site person.
If I'm wrong about this I apologize, as Canadian that comes with respect. -
Soooo.....
You had 3 cruises and only one (1) was NCL. and two (2) with CCL, so you combined that FCC for a total of $1500 which you post?
Just trying to see what is going on with your posts.
Now another CCL for Dec that will increase more FCC?

Seaman
What 200k rally? If you are talking about Jacksonville then your numbers are wrong. The arena only holds 19,000-20,000. Are they sitting on attendees shoulders?
We cancelled our 18 day TA ex Italy to NYC for this Oct. when it became apparent we would not have the cruise we envisioned. We're sad as it would have given us a taste of places we would probably go back to as land trip.

That may be true Beerman, but Seaman11 sig did state sailing Aug 13th (??) on Carnival Elation which has, recently, been cancelled.

I'm taking post #10 for $100.00, Alex.

Ceili - Thank you for the pics of Canada Place even with your clouds. We had a few clouds here in White Rock but mostly sun yet awoke to a dust of snow.
Sid, I love watching what you make for food although cooking for one (or even the 2 of us) turns into leftovers for lunch /pre-snack dinner.

Another inane subject from the OP.
Others incite speculation or who, what where, what, why questions with nothing to back anything why the questions is asked other to open assumptions.
I don't know about the rest of you but I'm stepping back from CC until all the BS is over. OP included.- 1

Were you actually booked on an Asian cruise and had to cancel/was cancelled or are you someone who is just raising dust for those that may be? Do you have any NCL/anyone else cruise booked within the next 2 weeks?
We're in NOLA and leaving tomorrow, just saying. -
I know this was posted some time ago but I forgot to grab it for reference.
Was it it E-Bay or Amazon to find the disks (K-Cup do NOT work) that fit our Balcony coffee machines?
Any link you could provide would be gratefully appreciated.

Well I finally have something exciting (well to me) to post.
We're leaving in about 4 hours for the airport and this time tomorrow we'll be topside on the NCL Joy for sail-away. I'm in fleece and long pants now but by the time we get to Miami I'll be digging out a pair of shorts!- 15

Sid,
Please watermark your photos as I've seen something quite close to your "over the sofa" on a Australia netflix cooking channel.
Just saying as your art is really good.- 1

Question about booking flights via NCL: do the flights include a checked bag or do you pay extra for that? Our last TA was from our home port of Port Canaveral so we just paid for our flights home from BCN because we wanted to go to London for a couple of days on the way home. Now we are looking at booking a TA from San Juan to Barcelona with NCL air. Unfortunately in 2021, NCL does not have any TAs listed from FL. The deal of 20% off plus double points is just too good to pass up.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkHi Pc,
We're flying Alaska and not first class (business) so we pay for the luggage down (+$60) but we have bought the transfer so off bus and onto ship. Sometimes you just pay to have less off a airport/ship issues; bought both ex LA to VCR excursive x 2.
Sorry to hijack Sid's adventure.- 2

Yesterday was another windy, blustery raining day so I looked at Ger and said "soup". We gathered together all the parts to make WonTons and got to work. We try to do this every couple of months when the rains start to beat us down to the point of mindless TV marathons or cooking. This time it was ground chicken with ginger/garlic, spices and all the other things that go into making a good base for both the Wontons and soup. I just bagged up all the leftover Wontons from the freezer for a couple of next "soup" nights.
Tonight is lamb chops on the bar-b-que (under an umbrella) with veggies.
We need to start packing soon as we leave in 15 days for our 16 day cruise through the Panama Canal. We've been looking forward to this trip for over a year now and reality is setting in. I'm looking forward to boarding the Joy but not the long (for us) flight to get to Miami. Yep, did the NCL flight yada, yada but to spend $100.00 total for a flight to Miami ex Vancouver and from LA back to YVR for 2 was really a no-brainer.- 5

Deedle, thinking outside the box?
Thanksgiving: For the two of us it's usually just a turkey breast with all the trimmings (mashed/gravy, brussel sprouts, cranberry sauce, salad w/fruit and some dessert with caramel sauce) although we've been known to butterfly a (brined) turkey and smoke it on the bar-b-que if we have a crowd.- 3

For the Pho, those leaves would be basil. I usually shred some, add some lime. That is after I've tasted the soup to see if the base needs a bit of up-taste.
Agree with reeinaz as can see some correlation between Scarpetta an Onda considering their chefs.- 1

That beach looked beautiful and your phone is doing a great job with the pictures which I knew you were wondering about.
I'm just amazed you haven't stopped by a local store for some Cheetos.- 2

I agree with BT regarding the travel down the "Mightly Miss" as most px's are moving around the ship going to dinner and might be checking out the ship (I remember the time leaving lent some . It takes some time (6-8?) hours to enter the mouth which can be calm and relaxing.
You're going in Feb? Please check NOLA Festivities schedule. -
Dates?
We've sailed out of NOLA 3 times but we always come in a couple of days early and stay an extra day after.
Check the NOLA festivities timetable which can affect pricing for local hotels.
It's a wonderful place to visit, great food and gracious people. -
Am I the only one that thinks that this dinner wouldn't have filled up Sid?

My DH and I want to thank all of your advice regarding this. It does "take a community" to help.
