Hi guys,
I've just called Princess, got hung up twice but finally someone answered the phone. Ok, the dude was really nice, he said he was told this morning by his supervisor who also oversees a refund team of 60 people, that they are currently working on CC refunds of pause one customers, they are on schedule to finish the pause one customers refund by the end of May. I don't know if this is true or just another lie to get us off their back by the end of May. I really don't know. My husband told me to sit tight and wait but I just can't 😫

We cancelled our cruise (scheduled for 5/16) on March 10th - prior to the first pause. We have not received our refund, our FCC, nor any communications from Princess. I don’t regret submitting my credit card dispute last week.

I filed disputes with AMEX and my local credit union (I used my debit/VISA for two payments) on May 7th and have received provisional credits to my accounts already. The credits become permanent if Princess fails to respond within 45 days, or their response is unacceptable to AMEX and the credit union.

I cancelled on March 10th, and my cancellation email from Princess is dated March 11th - 8 weeks ago yesterday. This morning, I phoned Princess and was told that they have no idea when I might see my refund. The representative also told me she doesn’t know what cruise dates are currently being worked on, so there’s no way to know where in the queue I am. She indicated that representatives have been asking for this information so they can share this with customers who call, but they are being told nothing. This is alarming to me. I didn’t want to, but for my own financial protection, this morning I filed disputes with the two credit cards I used to pay for my cruise. I had been booked on a May 16th Alaska cruise.

I cancelled on March 11th, and my cruise was to have been on May 16th. I was eligible for my cancellation fees to be reimbursed in the form of FCC’s and the remainder of my cruise fare to be refunded to me. I have not received anything yet - no FCC’s nor refunds. This Saturday will be 60 days. I have also not received any emails from Princess.

Refund Status for canceled cruises: Retitled after merges
in Princess Cruises

We cancelled our May 16th Alaska cruise on March 11th. Filed a dispute with our credit card on May 7th. Finally - after 105 days - received a refund from Princess yesterday. Just called our credit card to cancel the dispute and have them pull back the provisional credit they had given us. Have not yet received the $400 FCC due to us.
