We had two silent disco nights recently on out 14 night south America cruise (on infinity). It was so much fun! Actually, it was a blast. The martinis didn't hurt either.

Yes and it should be pro-rated for the number of days you have left on board. Enjoy....

Awesome. Thanks.

Hi, can someone confirm the bathroom amenities included in a concierge cabin (perhaps it is the same for all categories). Wondering if they supply body wash and shampoo. Hoping to save on packing and can't remember. Many thanks.

Thanks to everyone who replied. Yes, comparing Mariner to Viking Spirit. The retractable roof over the pool is a great option to have on Viking given the weather will not be hot. Torn.....hhmmm.

Hello, looking for some opinions (which I know can be subjective). Two similar itineraries being offered by Regent and Viking from Tokyo to Vancouver. My DH have never sailed either line (previously have been on royal, princess, Norwegian, celebrity and azamara). Friends of ours who we would be travelling with are open to either cruiseline. Can anyone who has cruised both give your general observatikns or thoughts. Would be looking at a regular balcony cabin on either. Thanks in advance.

Just off a North End Australia cruise on the Solstice. We were also in a concierge cabin and are select level still...... Friends travelling with us were first timers with Celebrity but also in a concierge cabin....... We both got coupons that offered one bag of laundry for $20.00. We had two of these coupons each but only ended up using one.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated. I will likely go with $aud.......

My DH and I will soon be on the Solstice. Our gratuities are pre-paid, being included as one of the incentives when we booked. We usually tip extra though for good service. Being from Canada we don't much felt like changing our dollars to $USD given the terrible exchange rate. Just wondered if others have tipped in local currency before? We will be sailing an Australia itinerary so will have $AUD.....thoughts?

Hello, can anyone tell me for sure if there will be local tour operators waiting at the Airlie Beach cruise terminal for passengers looking for a day trip/half day tour? I emailed with the tourist office but they said they only offered sight seeing flights and if I didn't want that would have to book through my cruise line. From what little I have found by searching this doesn't seem right.....Thanks!!

Hello, we will be in Puerto Limon in February on the Celebrity Equinox. After some research I have booked with Jorge Ramirez Morales who I found through CC for a group of 8 of us. We won't actually have him as our guide as another group had already personally requested him, so he has arranged another driver and guide for us. We are headed to the Jaguar Rescue Center, Tortuguero Canal and if time permits, a short city tour and/or Bonita Beach. His email address is jorgel.cr@homail.com
Hope this helps. I can let you know how it goes when we get back.

Thanks,

Call me suspicious but "moretti123" you have 21 posts and every single post is strongly in favour of a company called "egypt4utours". Hmmmmm....

Greg, really glad you are posting. Seems a little disappointing, but maybe it will pick up.
