  1. We are cancelling our trip on the Star in May.  It was a bucket list cruise to Norway but we have decided we don't want to play the waiting game.  We have decided to take our granddaughter to Yellowstone instead.  We will look into this cruise in a few years after their is a vaccine and the industry is running again.  We miss cruising but don't feel now is the time to cruise.

  2. The cruise we are taking is a 2 week cruise in a colder climate.  We have 3 different sea days.  I am thinking the thermal spa will be a nice place to relax.  If the price is less than $200 a week, I think it will be worth it.  Thanks for the information.

  3. My husband and I are booked on a Norway and Iceland cruise in May 2021 on the Norwegian Star.  I have been trying to find a price for the thermal suite.  Does anyone know what the approxiate cost is?  Can you buy a day pass or do you have to buy a pass for the entire cruise?  Any reveiws about the thermal suite?  Is it worth the expense?  I have loved the thermal suites on several ships but the one on my last cruise was a huge disappointment (NOT  NCL cruise).  I was happy I did not purchase a pass.  Thanks for your help in advance.

  4. The Norway was my second cruise. We sailed on her in 2002.  It was suppose to be a 20th anniversary cruise but my husband was stationed overseas. Our first cruise was to celebrate our 10th anniversary.  We did not take our two daughters but promised the girls we would take them on a cruise for our 20th anniversary, so the girls and I went without my husband. All three of us fell in love with the ship.  My husband and I were to sail on her a few months after her accident.  I was so sad when we were not able to sail on her again.  She is still my favorite ship after quite a few cruises. Whe was a elegant and beautiful lady.

  5. The teen club upper age is 17, you will still be 17.  It has been a few years, but when I traveled with my 17 year old daughter, she was allowed to participate in all the teen club activities.  She also joined her sister  (age 20) in several young adult activites.  They were never questioned.  Both were well behaved and did not draw attention to themselves.

  6. When I talked to a NCL cruise consultant last week, I was told they are reconfiguring itineraries in several locations.  I was booking a Eurpean cruise, so not so much an issue.  But she did tell me to keep an eye on the website for new Caribbean itineraries.  I wonder if this is a response to some of the ports refusing entry to cruise ships.

  7. As few as possible.  I would prefer to be barefoot all the time.  But as that is not allowed, I bring the following.

Sandals to wear with anything remotely dressy

    flip flops for the pool

water sandals for the beach and most shore exursions

and I wear a pair of slip on sneakers

I used to take alot and never wore them all.  I now only take what I know I will wear.

  8. I will be sailing on the MSC Divina for a 3 night cruise in March.  There are no sea days on this voyage.  I am debating whether or not I should get a pass to the thermal suite.  Would I use it enough to justify the expense?  How much is a single use pass?  Thanks.
